Had I bothered to read the subtitle of this book, I would not have bothered to read the book at all. I picked it up thinking I'd get some interesting tips. However, upon reading the book, I found that it's not for the serious amateur photographer at all, but has some merely fun (and hokey, many of them) ideas for phone and point and shoot cameras. Some of them might be able to be classified as clever, as the title indicates, if only somewhat, but the majority of the 'ideas' are downright silly (such as using your camera as a mirror by taking a picture and then checking your hair and make up on the monitor) or so mundane that surely everyone already knows them (such as using photo software apps on your camera to give the pics different effects, or uploading your photos to websites to share them). I also found several grammatical errors in the book, which of course drove me insane!

I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone except perhaps someone who has little else to do with their time and no other books to read.
