The Sowers Series biographies offer children a chance to experience the Christ-inspired pathways followed by some heroic men and women. Their impact on our lives as well as a great deal of factual information is skillfully presented to the child within the framework of an interest-holding story. Over the years, the Sowers Series books have established their appeal with a wide range of readers and listeners.
Orville and Wibur Wright made an amazing contribution to the world by creating a heavier-than-air flying machine. This book tells their story from childhood to awards, but it is written rather poorly. Some of the wording is odd, and certain sentences feel out of place or unnecessary. Yet the book did tell clearly the struggles the brothers encountered while making their flying machine. This is a book suited for younger readers, but anyone can read it. I would suggest reading about the Wright brothers, but this book is not the best one out there.
