I've used this book for years. Even today it has immense relevance and knowledge to provide. Awesome routines that can help beginners and advanced lifters, whether you're doing it for fun, health, or sport. Still a classic.

Evidence-based geeks might scoff and smirk at the prodigious amounts of "bro science" contained within this book - but that entire niche of nerds wouldn't even come close to the strength and physique achievements of the legendary Franco.

Great survey of strength training concepts, exercises, routines, and nutrition from one of the best ever to do it. A bit dated, but the advice is timeless. Incredibly succinct, easy to read in just an hour or two, but with enough depth to go back to over and over again.

A Solid Review

The book offers a balanced approach to building a better physique. There's no magical formula nor does Dr. Columbu take dogmatic stances in his approach. Most of his ideas fall within the evidence-based practices of today.
