"I wish I had the time to review books and chat with you here, but my writing deadlines just don't allow it. Please like my Fans of Beth Wiseman Page on Facebook where I try to post any news and interact with readers." Beth is the best-selling and award winning author of the Daughters of the Promise series - Plain Perfect, Plain Pursuit, Plain Promise, Plain Paradise, and Plain Proposal. She is contracted with HarperCollins Christian Publishing. Her other series--the Land of Canaan Novels--begins with Seek Me With All Your Heart, then The Wonder of Your Love and now, His Love Endures Forever. Seek Me With All Your Heart is the first Amish fiction book selected as a Women of Faith novel in 2011. Beth has also written three contemporary Christian fiction novels, Need You Now published in 2012 and The House That Love Built in 2013. In The Promise, (2014) Beth jumps way outside the box. This story takes readers far away from Amish Country and small Texas towns to a dangerous place on the other side of the world. Inspired by a true story, Beth believes this is the book she’s been working toward for a long time. 2015 brings Beth back to the Pennsylvania Amish with her new series, Amish Secrets. She is currently working on book #2 following much success with book #1, Her Brother's Keeper.
When rereading this series, I had to switch the order of the third and second books. Because I only own the first book as well as this omnibus of books 3-5 of this series, I had to wait on the library in order to read the second book. I read the first one and set aside the series for a while before deciding to just skip over book two and start number three. Although I knew there were parts of the overall story I was missing, switching the order of the second and third books didn't actually throw me off too much, so it worked out pretty well all things considered. So, after reading Plain Perfect, the first book of the Daughters of the Promise series, in October, I read many other books and then started this omnibus beginning with, Plain Promise, the 3rd novel, which I read between November 12 and 14, and to be honest, it's actually my favorite as well. Then, after reading some other books, I jumped back into the series and read the second book, Plain Pursuit, from November 23 to 25. Right away, I picked up the omnibus again and read both the fourth book, Plain Paradise, and the fifth book, Plain Proposal, which I finished on November 27th. Then, I took another break from the series. Anyhow, I enjoyed rereading the third, fourth, and fifth books in Beth Wiseman's Daughters of the Promise series, a beautiful series about faith and family. These Amish novels were well written with sweet plots and great characters. In conclusion, because I felt more connected to the characters and their emotions while reading the books this time around, I enjoyed the series more and am glad I decided to reread these books.
Clean with good morals. Good story lines. My kind of book! I love that the first two books show people pushing themselves to become better than they are, especially under trying circumstances. I appreciated the introspection. The third, I thought, kind of pulled away from that. I appreciated that the young man was appalled when she sneaked out to meet him and that he wouldn't see her that way. Although she was trying to follow those things she thought she should do, I didn't think her rebelliousness was the correct way to get there. In essence, I loved the first two far more than the third.

Each of the three books stand alone. In fact I'm not sure which is my favorite. If you're unsure if you want to read these books I'd whole heartedly recommend them!
