The split between the political parties gets wider and the states want the burden of Federal mandates without attached funding lifted. President Sanchez will do whatever he needs to do to maintain power and get reelected. Governor Brewster Steele needs to pull Texas out of its downward spiral.

The constitution is stretched to its breaking limits.

Engaging from the beginning! This is a compelling read, characters are well developed and the plot is realisitc. I keep thinking about the things that occur, and hope that it remains just a story.

A realistic picture of where this country is headed if we don't address our serious fiscal problems. Big gov't is not the answer. A good read!
