"Intense and exhilarating story that will leave you breathless." - Lois McGuinty (Best Books Journal)

Lonely nights and sugarless days have driven Hannah to seek a new beginning, away from a boorish man and a two-dimensional, colorless life. Now, she finds herself in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she's overwhelmed by a flood of excitement, thanks to her sister Courtney, a prominent dancer in an upscale burlesque show. As her world spins, Hannah falls for Dominic Montero, a notable figure around town with a charming personality and dark, handsome features that bring him whatever he wants. As she succumbs to her desires, Hannah finds herself trapped in a dangerous world that threatens her very freedom. To save herself, she must do whatever it takes, even if it means breaking the law.

Suffice it to say that I did not enjoy this book. No recommendation. One positive note -- it was an Amazon freebie.

So, I don't normally go for this genre of book, however it was free and short.

The story follows the tale of Hannah as she leaves her abusive husband and goes to her sister's house. She then meets a mysterious guy who invites her to a party...and that's where the story twists...

Although the characters and scenery, as well as the sex scenes, are described well, the overall plot is a little weak in my views.
The author has done well to capture the essence of the story, but fails with the ending as well as a few details in the build up too.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more optimistic about it.

I dont know about this one. If was an Amazon freebie, but I dont even think worth it. If it had been an actual novel and not a short story it probably could have gone a long way.

Not worth the read

Not sure what I was expecting from this book?? I think it had a chance of being a good book, but turned a little weird towards the end. Don't know if there will be a 2nd book or not, but if it was a freebie, I would read it to see what happens to Hannah and her sister.
