Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

kind of meh. a lot of time running around chasing jack frost, but nothing interesting or unique. seems like there is a lot more that cod have been done, but I guess seeing how this series is now over 100 books strong, the more creative stories are harder to come by. the ideas behind the scarf dress and the space outfit were fun, but rainbow pants? ya, awesome.

1.5 Stars!

Tyra’s book is still the best from this series so far! Although, I did love seeing the clothes they made in her book again. (I love continuity.)

As for Brooke’s design, I don’t love her top. Idk if it’s the length or what, but something about it is just not working for me. You can’t go wrong with a jeans and combat boots combo though. Plus, she has the coolest wings I’ve seen in a while (the diamond shape + being a darker colour).
She was also such a nothing fairy character. I was so mad when she got them all caught cuz she just had to see what was going on.

Also, why did Jack Frost’s outfit kind of eat? The starry jumpsuit is very much so giving Freddie Mercury.

Okay, enough about the art. I loved this one line from Kirsty, but I need these two to stop being so damn cute: “We’re really lucky. I’m so glad we met each other that day on the boat to Rainspell Island.” Who starts a book like this?

It’s about two girls named Kirsty and Rachel helping Brooke. Brooke is a fairy who loves pictures, but Jack Frost stole ONE magical object. The magical object is the magical camera. My favorite part of this book is when Kirsty and Rachel helped get the magical item because it was a very happy ending to me.

Read it for the Spanish. The villain is a little over the top, but otherwise good.
