Arg is a cave boy but different from the rest of his tribe – he has a much larger (normal brain). He feels a little lonely with no-one intelligent to talk to. We meet his best friend Shlok and his dim mum. When Arg is out looking for Brontasaurus poo he hears a T-Rex coming. They rush back to their camp and watch the T-Rex wrecking everything. How is Arg going to help?

Fantastic illustrations, hilarious story with tons of snot and poo for boys!

Read this because it's a childhood book series. Will read all of them. Definitely child humour but duh, it's a children's book. Neat.

Read it to the boys in our afternoon reading sessions during school holidays. Highly appealing to them as it contains numerous mentions of poo and snot. You can't go wrong with dinosaur books but I feel the urge to tell them soon-ish the real history of dinosaurs and humans...

This was a fun book. Well written. Enough gross stuff about farting and snot to keep the boy entertained. He said he loved it.
