**Another Bachelor bites the Dust**

I truly enjoyed this book. It is hot, sexy, and proves that a man who has sworn to remain a bachelor can be proven wrong by the right woman. Winston and Ainsley's story is one for the record books. The chemistry between these two characters is instant and grows over time. It develops into a wonderful love story that had to be told.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get this book, you will not be disappointed *****5 star Read!!

Another bachelor gone from the bachelor club. I enjoyed Winston's story. He meet his match with Ainsley. She was determined to get a story and ended up getting a whole lot more. Winston being the loner he was never saw it coming. So once the magic happened it was no way to stop it. Great read!

This is another sweet but sexy romantic tale from Brenda Jackson. Ainsley St. James is feisty but very passionate, just the combination that Winston Coltrane desires for a one night stand. But the one night seems to never end...

This is one of those love stories that you just want to see the characters unite because they belong together no matter what. You will enjoy the interaction between Ainsley and Winston because they are just likable people who just want to have fun but in the process discovers an admiration for one another that goes beyond the physical. Now, they do get physical in many ways but it just adds to the appreciate of being very attractive to someone.

Again Mrs. Jackson tangles with the notion of love at first sight, but she incorporates a believable story line that adds desirable traits to these two characters which encompass a romantic courtship.

The story is backdropped in the beautiful island of Hilton Head. In the story you will learn a little history about the island so that is a plus. Seahorses will become a memorable marine life that you want to explore more.

All in all, this was a very good story. It's not fast pace (even though it starts that way), it moves along very nicely so that you can value how love at fight sight can truly happen. I know you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!!!

This is one of the better Brenda Jackson books I have read in a while. From the very first page the story drew me in. Winston and Ainsley had passion for days. They were on fire in between the sheets each and every time they came together. The chemistry was off the charts. Ainsley was so persistent in getting what she wanted professionally that she wore Winston down and totally changed his personal outlook on life. It was nice catching up with the other bachelors and I cant wait to read about the last two going down. If it is anything like this book. It will be exciting to read.

Let me start off by saying I'm a big Brenda Jackson fan and have read nearly all of her books. Now that that's out of the way, I'm dying to see her do something new. Out of the box. Totally different from anything she's ever done. Because while the characters and storylines change, the writing (tone/wording/IDK) doesn't change and makes me feel like I'm reading the same ol', same ol' book after book after book. I feel like the Bachelor series is supposed to be youthful and racier('I'm gonna take you hard'), but it just doesn't feel that way.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm gonna keep on her reading her books, I'm just gonna be doing a WHOLE lot of eye-rolling while doing so.

What I loved most about this book was the landscape and the learning. I enjoy reading about different places and learning about new things. Bachelor Unclaimed encompassed both, for me.

When you read many romance books you quickly learn there's a sure fire formula used in every one. So, when you come across a book with a good setting, interesting characters and a plot that goes beyond the norm it deserves to be acknowledged.

Though there was great potential behind this book and these characters I just wasn't impressed. This was not a favorite of mine. There wasn't nearly enough story development or character development for that matter. This story was carried along by an over abundance of sex scenes that just left me with an unsatisfied feeling at the end of this novel.

I love Brenda Jackson books but this Bachelor Series isn't her best. I liked the hot & steamy scenes between Winston & Ainsley. The storyline is boring & forgettable. Bachelor Untamed is my favorite.

so for me this is the higher of the 2 Bachelor reads i did read ...so a bit more of a 4.7 and a half ... love this books. if you are new to Brenda's writing ... please do check her out. library books are the way. cheaper that is.
i think it is okay to pick from the 2 i read that are called "Bachelor Undone" & "Bachelor Unclaimed" ... 'cause i am the reader and that is how i roll. which did you enjoy?? i preferred book #4 a bit more ... so Bachelor Unclaimed. check this series out. this is the cover i did read ...so i am going there. lots of editions to pick from. read it through my local library leaning program. i explain last time i read a bunch of Brenda's book through the same platform ... i did have to pick of the ones i did read. so i read this one ... Claimed for Destiny (why do i wanna write Dinner ... Claimed for Dinner. there authors that is title for ya!! lol.) as well as ... Bane #27 in series, Perfect Timing, Bachelor Undone #3, and Bachelor Unclaimed #4. now you might wonder why i did pick these ... well on the platform they were recommended and i was curious by the cover and title of the books. so my fave: "Perfect Timing" was a bit higher for me ... gosh ...that was a tough decision. gotta run ...books and life to be working on ... laters.

There was a nice, cozy aspect to this story. An island, rain, and sea creatures. It felt like there was a nod to older stories like Pride and Prejudice, because all of a sudden the rain meant you couldn’t leave.

I enjoyed their story and the moments between the romantic interests.

However, I will never, ever go for a love interest who refers to other men as “whipped” by being in romantic relationships. He also didn’t trust or connect with women because one woman cheated on him once? Dude, get over it.

And while I don’t mind her getting whisked off across to another side of the world, I felt disappointed she didn’t do what she had wanted — become a mayor. I know there were “reasons” against her returning, but it was her dream and she gave up on it.

Brenda Jackson is one of my favorite fiction authors. All her books are great! Her Bachelors in Demand series will keep you reading and waiting for another book to come out. When you read the book you will connect with the characters and will cheer them on. Some of the parts of the book get steaming, but I am sure you can handle it. If you haven't read any of her books, what are you waiting for? Go to her website and make sure that you start at the beginning of every series for you can connect the characters. You will love her books!

Best so far!

I am enjoying this incredible series, "Bachelors on Demand"! Winston and Ainsley's love experience is the best so far. I enjoyed their getting to know each other over their respective professions. As a scientist, I loved their time in the laboratory, if only. LOL! I expected him to run into her in NYC. I was surprised at her meeting him on his sanctuary. This author has brought the excitement with this book!

It was supposed to be a one night stand. At least that is what Ainsley hoped. Then she runs into Winston while she is trying to get an interview with a reclusive scientist. Ending up trapped on his island overnight turns into her staying for a few weeks.
This was a really good story. I enjoyed it a lot.

Good

I liked this a lot, it was a little slow at times and seemed as if you were waiting for something to happen however the characters more than you expected made up for it she was feisty and he was exactly what you expect when reading these books.

I always enjoy Brenda's writing and this one was of course another great addition to the read pile. I did take away a star because of some of the thoughts the male protagonist had; they were kinda creepy and I really didn't feel like they went along with the characterization she had been giving us up until that point. Other than that creepy moment, this story was a wonderful quick romantic, sensual read that I gobbled up really quickly, because I didn't want to leave until I saw how it all panned out.

I found the characters to be awesome, Brenda gave us a believable story that was steamy hot and they just clicked together so well. I loved that the characters believed that they were here for one story and totally walked away with something different.

I loved how spunky and tenacious Ainsley was and it's so funky that her town was so stupid. I really liked Ainsley because she reminded me of me, she was a modern, fun, funky and happy woman. I want to meet the woman who decided doing what she did to Ainsley was smart or even really the way other women should be done and just pop her in the mouth. Ainsley was my favorite character because she didn't let Winston intimidate her and I loved how she handled him once they confronted the elephant in the room.

" Love didn't hurt you, someone who claimed to love you did" I say this on facebook the other day and this was perfect for the book. I just loved it. This is a lesson both Winston and his cousin Virgil need to learn,. I can't wait to read the other god-brothers stories and enjoy the fullness of their fall. I especially want to read Z's and Virgils' tales.

I really loved that Brenda dropped some serious history within the story. Especially about the Civil War, Robert Small, the Gullah people and islands, and Mitchellville. It all so awesome to read a story that discusses my history without making it a trite piece or somehow lessening the impact and the power of the tale. Also I totally love the little tidbits about marine biology that she interspersed within the story.

I loved that Winston's a cook, low country boil indeed, yes sir, I need the universe to send me one of these!! Winston was a good character to read, he was educated, fun, funny and so smart, but yet, he wasn't as smart as he thought.

A definite must read and going on my faves of 2014 because it was humorous and sensual and I love Ainsley she deserves all the happiness. I can't wait to read the other stories. Brenda sure knows how to spin a tale . Now I want to go down south again.

★★★★☆
I hope you enjoy Ainsley and Winston as much as I did. Happy Reading

I’m a huge Brenda Jackson fan and have been since reading Delaney’s Desert Sheikh. I’ve been hooked on her sexy tales of family and romance. And if I’m brutally honest, I also love her for representing different ethnicities, although most of her stories feature African American characters.

In Bachelor Unclaimed, she introduces marine biologist Winston Coltrane, another Bachelor in Demand, who has sworn off permanent relationships with women after a heartbreak in college. He meets Ainsley in the bar off the island where he lives and is instantly attracted. Ainsley, a former reporter, comes to the island to heal and recover her pride after losing the mayoral election in her hometown. She is disheartened and jobless and in need of a night on the town to recover, when she meets Winston.

The problems I had with this story were not due to writing; no, Jackson has never let me down in that regard. My problem was a sense of something missing, that I narrowed down to a wish for more description or backstory on Winston and Ainsley. I kept waiting for explanations or demonstrations as to why certain actions or thoughts progressed.

Winston goes to extraordinary lengths to protect his privacy (possibly as a result of this incident, although I was never clear on why), setting up a fake Facebook account and using a photograph of his grandfather for his bio, but these didn’t feel like legitimate measures. It seemed kind of silly that a man with his wealth couldn’t do more than that to guarantee he would be left alone

And Ainsley’s family was such motivation in her life and in her decision to run for mayor, yet we saw nor heard nothing from them. Just a brief mention in the beginning about her leaving Claxton after her dad had recovered. I would have appreciated seeing the how her family shaped the woman she became, since she had run for mayor based on her family’s history. Instead, we are given a glimpse of her motivations and desires through her best-friend and former boss, neither of which mention her family. However, I felt the interactions between Ainsley and her best-friend and boss served to make Ainsly look bad in comparison to the person her words presented her to be.

For the most part, this was an okay read. Honestly, I think it was because it was Brenda Jackson story, and I have a marked preference for her titles, that I rated it as I did. If I hadn’t known the author’s name before hand, I might have felt differently. It featured too simplistic characters that made me skim pages I would have normally read thoroughly and leave me vaguely unsatisfied.

In this latest installment of Brenda Jackson’s Bachelor in Demand series we are introduced to Winston Coltrane, the next bachelor to fall under the love spell. As we are aware Winston is one of the last remaining bachelors who is determine to not meet the same feat as his god brothers, Uriel, Xavier & York’s fate. Winston is a marine biologist that loves his solitude when studying sea creatures and is not anxious to change that status. One night he decides to take a break and meets Ainsley or as he called her “Red”, and from there sparks fly and an incredible night is born. With no personal information exchanged each thinks it’s a one night stand that left both affected, never realizing they would meet again.

Bachelor Unclaimed was an enlightening and very entertaining read. The character development was very clear and the chemistry between Winston and Ainsley was clear from the initial meeting in the bar. The storyline kept pace and allowed the reader to stay focused on the theme in this series, bachelor fighting hard to maintain his bachelorhood and never realizing that “the one” has infiltrated his heart. These characters and their professions were realistic and sometimes likeable. Mrs. Jackson did a great job delving into the profession of marine biology and mating habits of sea creatures. How those habits relate to the story readers will have to pick up Bachelor Unclaimed to find out. This was a funny story and I recommend you purchase this one.
