When Brazilian gem dealer Maximilian Furst stops making payments on his fifty million dollar business jet, “Hawker” Dunlop, reclusive owner of a high-end recovery company, sends a resourceful team to Rio to repossess the aircraft.

Dunlop’s newest hire, ex-military pilot Amelia “Jet” Walczynski, has the perfect skills for infiltrating Furst’s inner circle and flying away the targeted plane. The assignment appears straightforward until Jet discovers Furst is a sociopath and knows she is after his aircraft. Her promised support team, a Greek lawyer avenging his brother’s death, a conman who sidelines as their scout, and a mechanic who paints her nails to match the country of operation, appear a hindrance rather than help. Jet finds it hard to play nice with her teammates when their private agendas put her life at risk. Yet, the closer she gets to Furst and the plane, the more she and her team will have to rely on each other to complete the repossession.

I can list a ton of reasons why I liked this book, starting with woman pilot. :D Second, woman mechanic. Whoo hoo. Though she has a very small role...well, not a small role--she's very necessary--just not a lot of her in the book until the end. It also takes place in Brazil, an exotic location.

Jet has to steal a plane...to repo it. Unfortunately, the plan is in the possession of a very bad man...a kingpin of sorts, only he deals with emeralds instead of drugs. I was surprised by that. But he's running out of money and has a cruel streak wider than the runway necessary for his private jet.

Las Vegas, NV. Mojave Desert. Red’s Casino/horse stables. Red Walczynski (Jet’s mother) & Amelia “Jet” Walczynski were playing chess while keeping an eye on the getting drunk bar patrons.
Mr. Graham “Hawker” Dunlop (British, aircraft repossession co. owner) called Jet he had another job for her.
Repossess a Gulfstream 550.
What were Maximilian “Max” Furst (Brazilian, gem dealer) & Jet discussing?
Hawker called Mr. Gregorios Demos (Greek, Hawker’s BMF, corporate lawyer, shipping magnate) & he was quite pleased.

Galeão International Airport. Jet was greeted by Lenny.
Pedra Bonita. Jet next met with Gregorios.
Ipanema Beach condo. Anybody & everybody who was somebody would be attending Max’s soirees.
Beto told Mr. Demos, Nando (Maximilian’s computer tech) had been found floating up-right in Lagoa.
Senhor Antonio Russo was the 1 who greeted Senhorita Amelia De Luca (aka Jet).
Senhora Sissi Dias (Portuguese) welcomed Gregorios.
Max asked Mr. Demos for his help in locating Amelia.

What were Jet & Mr. Imbamba up to?

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

Repossessed - a review by Rosemary Kenny

Feisty pilot Amelia (aka Jet), is recruited to repo a jetliner from a broke millionaire, after being tested on a similar, smaller job in this enthralling, all-action thriller from the talented Sandy Parks.

No-one else tasked with the mission has even been able to locate the aircraft's runway in Brazil, let alone the well-hidden craft itself.
You'll be amazed at the skills and opportunities Jet makes use of, as the owner, Brazilian gem dealer Max Furst, does everything in his power to put her and the team allotted to her off the trail.

Can Jet turn the tables on Max? Will she be distracted by his, (or others' advances)?
How will it all end - and who will win this battle of wits? Get your copy today and find out now!

If you like your adventure with a touch of the con you are going to love Repossessed. Our story begins when Hawker Dunlop, Jet's Walczynski reclusive boss sends her on a mission to repossess a fifty-million-dollar business jet in the possession of Maximilian Furst, an unscrupulous Brazilian gem dealer. What Jet did not know was the Furst is a sociopath who aware of Jet's mission. Jet and her back up team must find a way to outwit Furst and get the plane. How Ms. Parks solves this dilemma makes this book a fun read. If you enjoy action-packed stories with happy endings you are really going to enjoy this novel.

I received this book from the author and I have freely posted this fair and balanced review.

Jet is a lone wolf repo pilot sent to South America to do a job, encumbered with a team she doesn't want but must learn to trust. She needs cash, and fast, to bailout her uncle and mom. That was a strange thing for me, but it works within the context of this story. Graham, her boss, is a cagey dude who never shows his face--has an air of mystery, as they say. Gregorios, the lawyer, has trust issues and puts Jet through her paces-- or tries too--between them the story takes off at a dead run. I never thought about airplanes being repossessed until I read this book. Those who enjoy an exotic locale, action/adventure, and thrills will also want to read this book.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is an interesting start to what appears to be a promising series. The characters were varied and complex, each with their own set of demons, but the author had them working together and these difference seem to enhance the story. There were several twist plots that caught the reader flat footed and sent the story heading in a totally different direction. The action was tense and expectant versus always in your face explosive type.

Jet is an unusual woman in many respects. In this story she uses her abilities as a pilot to repossess a sleek modern jet from a not-so-sleek bounder. Always a loner, in this instance she is forced to work with a team and slowly accept and appreciate them. The plot offers few surprises, but has enough suspense and is written well enough to keep the reader hooked. Most of the characters are quite unique and described so well they become old friends. The book contains so many jewels you will want to read it again.

OMG.... This was an awesome thriller. I loved that the main character was a tough as nails woman. I got pulled into the story from the first page and didn't want to quit reading. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I definitely recommend.

Expect the unexpected. I usually write more in a review. However, anything I might add that is not already in the author’s synopsis would give away too much. Fasten your seatbelts and bone up on your Portuguese because … FYI – the cat doesn’t get hurt. Unforgettable is the closest word to describe this.

Great thriller. You don't need to be an aviation fan to appreciate the taught storyline. However, if you are, you will certainly enjoy this novel immensely.

I can't wait to read the next one in the series!

Well written, excellent character development, just the right amount of suspense. Overall, it’s an exciting romp of diverse characters trying to repossess a Gulfstream 550 - not that it’s an easy repo. Loved it!

What a thrilling game of cat and mouse all to repossess an expensive airplane.

Amelia Jet Walczynski tough, smart, a loose cannon, thinks on her feet, can hold her own in most situations and she can also fly a plane, even with her fear of heights.

Gregorios Demos gorgeous Greek lawyer playing a dangerous game is he good bad or a mixture of both

Max not a man to be played with Max is super deadly when crossed Amelia better watch her back.

Lenny I love how Roxy calls Lenny 007 especially when he is described as a short round con man by Amelia lol to funny.

Roxy not your average mechanic, not your average anything, where Amelia is tall and athletic Roxy is short curvy and voluptuous with a sexy outgoing personality just begging to distract any man.

Graham Dulop the mysterious British boss sending teams out to repossess planes all over the world.

An expensive G5 plane, emeralds, sapphires and gems galore.

This book was thrilling from start to finish with a great bit of humour on the side, good strong characters I really enjoyed it.

A High Flying Adventure!
Jet, the main character in Repossessed, is coming off a career in the military where she had trouble fitting in. More of an individual than a team player she's now working for a Repo company and is in Brazil to repossess a Gulfstream airplane. The story begins with a near shooting on the way from the airport and a dazzling hang glider ride. The research on flying and airplanes comes across as authentic and real. The quirky band of characters who are working with Jet to snatch the Gulfstream are well developed and fascinating. Roxy and her nail polish was my favorite. This is an excellent action adventure which will carry the reader from start to finish while Jet learns to play semi-nice as part of a team. It'll also leave the reader wanting another adventure.

This book came to my attention through the newsletter of Julie Moffett, Sandy's sister. It is an amazing book!

Jet is a female pilot (dang! I like that) and she is hired to repossess a plane (with help of a team). The adventure starts and I totally loved it.

I like Jet, although I would wish for her to be a little more vulnerable and open. She is so tough (not inside ofcourse). And who is Graham, the secret boss. At first I thought he might be the same as Gregori, but that is impossible.

Currently reading the next one 'Outfoxed' and hope for many more adventures (and romance... Gregori).

I didn't know anything about aircraft repossession before reading this book. Now, I feel like I've actually participated
in one! Sandy Parks does a great job of explaining how it all works, and fits the details in well with the flow of the story. The repo
team features some quirky and memorable characters, the villain is creepily evil, and Jet's mysterious boss makes you
wonder just what he might be hiding. The suspense level was just right throughout the book, keeping you wanting
to read more to see what will happen next. I enjoyed this a lot!

Repossessed by Sandy Parks was a fast paced, action adventure from the the first chapter. This was the perfect read for me on a winter's afternoon.

I enjoyed meeting each of the characters as they are all complex with their own agendas yet working as a team - yes, difficult at best. The villain, Max Furst, is a true sociopath with no redeeming qualities at all which makes him the best kind of villain to me. If you like a suspenseful thrill ride, get this book. You won't be disappointed.

This was a great read! Moving between Las Vegas and Brazil with interesting characters at a thrilling pace. Interesting characters working together and sometimes in opposition, to repossess a plane from a overly wealthy "businessman". I enjoyed the book and the ending piqued my curiosity about upcoming further adventures!!

I love this series!! Jet is in a catch 22, when she joins Hawker's repossession team, some of which have their own secrets. She finds herself in some precarious positions and you'll just have to read the book to see if the team actually accomplishes the mission or if it is foiled.

This is my first Sandy Parks book and i thoroughly enjoyed it. The individual characters, and the coming together of the team is well-defined. The story is different, as are the people. 'Hawker' Dunlop brings to mind the 'Charlie' s Angels' series, and the book somehow creates the same overall impression.i look forward to reading the next book in this series..... I highly recommend this book.
