Since birth, demi-god Nick Claus has heard the demands, wishes and dreams of all humans. Unable to grant the wishes of adults because they want love, health, and peace on Earth—things he cannot provide—Nick has devoted his eternity to granting the wishes of children by bringing them toys on Christmas Eve.

But what about the things Nick wants? Will he ever find the love he craves? Or will he continue to pretend the North Pole has not become lonely and Christmas is all he needs?

Enter Jack Frost.

The winter sprite has been teasing Nick and flirting with him ever since the first kiss they shared, centuries ago. With a saucy proposition, Jack convinces Nick to take a few minutes out for himself despite the busy Christmas season. The catch is, Jack hates Christmas.

Will Nick be able to melt the heart of Jack Frost, or will he end up getting frostbite from this sexy, naughty sprite?

I read Pip and Erik's story and knew I wanted Nick aka Santa to get his Happy Ending.
Nick has been lusting after Jack aka Jack Frost for many many many years of their eternal existence. They dance around each other, provoke and annoy and irritate the other and finally stomp off in a huff, time after time, year after year, never moving on to the good stuff or really taking, just arguing.
They are both totally in the dark about the other, Jack thinks all Nick cares about is Christmas and Nick thinks since Jack hates Christmas so much, it must mean that it's Nick he really hates.
So, finally, hot sex ensues, but as usual with these two, they don't understand the other and it takes a woman to get things moving in the right direction.
I liked that Santa isn't actually old and fat and Jack is actually very sweet. There was some very sweet and touching moments in this short and a few funny lines too.

ETA I forgot to mention that as a non eggnog drinker, I wasn't aware of all its..um abilities. I am now feeling informed.

A great follow-up to last year's funny and entertaining story about Pip and Erik, two of Santa's elves, this year's installment of the happenings at the "Naughty North Pole" had me fascinated. Not just because Santa himself is one of the two main characters and the one to tell the story. Mainly because of the underlying emotions, the depth of the issue between the two men, and Deanna Wadsworths's ability to use her humorous style to ensure the tone remains mostly light. This makes for the perfect mix as far as I am concerned, and ensures this is a Christmas story with some depth as well as considerable entertainment value.

Santa, or Nick, is lonely and has yearned for Jack Frost for centuries, Not that he would admit it, he feels far too rejected and wounded. Jack is the one man who seems determined to snub, ignore, and even resent Nick. Santa makes every kid's wish come true (that is his mission, at least) is deeply unhappy and neither wants to admit it, nor does he have a clue what to do. Instead, he focuses on making Christmas even bigger, even better each year, hoping that, one day, Jack will come to love it as well. Love him as well, because he is Christmas, so he thinks Jack feels the same way about him as he does about the holiday.

Jack Frost is a badass, dresses and behaves like a biker, and has quite the reputation for sleeping with everyone he gets his hands on. The things he says can be truly hurtful, but I had a feeling it might all be a bit of an exaggeration. Being the guy in charge of winter he is naturally cold, and that includes his heart. We don’t find out why he behaves this way until the last third of the story, but there are hints before then. Figuring out what is going on with him adds a nice touch of mystery to the story.

This world takes a few liberties with Norse sagas and the Western view of what goes on at the North Pole, and the result is a humorous, if somewhat unusual, look at elves and Santa Claus. If you don’t mind the legends you think you know getting a little mixed up, if you like the idea of Nick and Jack getting a little kinky, and if men who have been lonely for centuries finally reconnecting is what you’re looking for, then you will probably like this short book as much as I did.

I love these books!

This one was even better than the last one. Pip's story was cute, while this one was heart wrenching and beautiful. Although Jack's behaving like an ass to Nick (Santa), you can tell right away why that is. The two have been flirting back and forth for centuries and Nick has always craved for more than just that one kiss they shared literally ages ago. Jack is all hot and sexy (though he's actually cold) and I love how the author has weaved his frost magic into his character and his whole story. I definitely recommend this one.

Now excuse me while I go and read the first in the series ^.^

I thought this was a creative take on Santa Claus and Jack Frost. I was really into the uniqueness of the story but about halfway through, I got tired of the lack of communication and misunderstandings between Nick and Jack.

Now the highlight of this book was that the author made fellatio very appealing. If cum tasted like a Wendy's vanilla frosty, I'd be slurping it down daily LOL.

Santa is in love with Jack Frost. After a chance meeting in a department store where Santa is collecting for the Salvation Army, Jack leaves again and Santa returns to the Pole.
A sweet, short story about Santa getting the present that he really wants.

Santa does Jack Frost

Clever interpretation of Santa as a demigod who happens to be lining after Jack. Problem is, Jack hates Christmas and Nick can't deal with that. What's a Claus to do?

A Gift for Santa is the third book in ‘The Naughty North Pole’ series. It stars Nick Claus, a demi-god, and Jack Frost, a Sprite and bringer of Winter and Autumn. This is told in first from Nicks’ pov.

4.5 Stars

First the cover. I like the cartoon version because it conveys the humor and myth of Nick and Jack rather than the realistic model cover.

The blurb gives a basic rundown of what the story is about but there’s more to it than that. Nick and Jack met when they were a lot younger and shared a kiss. Nick wanted more, but he was devoted to being Santa, and as the decades go by the holidays are given different names and changed to ‘Christmas.’ Christmas also becomes more commercialized, and Nick tries to fulfill everyone’s wishes if he can because he can hear people’s thoughts on what they desire. Kids are simple, but adults he can’t. It’s wearing Nick out, and he’s forgotten what Christmas is truly about. And then there is Jack. He resents Nick’s workaholic attitude to being Santa. Jack sees what Nick has forgotten, plus he desperately wants Nick’s attention, but Jack isn’t the easiest to get along with. He resents Christmas taking up all of Nick’s time. This story is not just about these two getting together, but Nick realizing the truth about Christmas, and Jack speaking the truth about how he feels, instead of being snappish and running off.

This wasn’t a very long story, but the author did a terrific job of conveying the moods of both characters and about the world around them. I would’ve liked more about the history of the two characters, but this book was about the resolution of why they had a push-pull relationship when they desired each other. The author’s writing was tight and precise, no long monologues or over descriptions.

It's Nick’s pov for the whole book, but I still got a great idea of what Jack was like thought his words and behavior. There is a meddlesome and rowdy sister, who is mistakenly considered to be ‘Mrs. Claus’ by humans. I believe there is a book in this series with her and some elves.

Other than being too short, I really liked A Gift for Santa. I found it funny, amusing, along with it being a quick read. I’m not sure if I’ll read the rest of the books in this series except maybe the other M/M story. I want to give this 4.5 stars but since I can’t I’ll give it a full 5 Stars.

Very sweet story of poor Nick Claus who takes care of everyone else, including Ms. Claus, his twin sister, but never gets romance himself. He's been in love with Jack Frost for years, but other than a quick kiss long ago, he's never gone further.

Now it's time for Santa to get his dream come true. I'm really enjoying this series. I've had this on my TBR for ten years. Ten years! I have no idea why I never read it but I've now added the rest of the series and plan to get to them by this holiday season. All the books are fun, short, and feature characters we know from the Christmas tales we're heard since childhood.

So happy to see Santa jolly again, and Jack is not so frosty on the inside as he looks at first glance. :D

This book has a cute new cover- drawn covers are the rage this days. The story itself should have gotten an update as well.
It's kinda cute but there are a lot of cringy dialogues and monologues.
"Apparently Little Santa wasn't quite finished after the sexual drought I had imposed on him"
and
"when he took hold of my rousing North Pole and pumped it in time with his fucking, I swore I'd reached Valhalla"

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't think I'll read more in this series (even though in one of the next books there is fruitcake flavored involved- color me intrigued)

Adorable, sweet, sexy and swoony!!!

Santa and Jack Frost? Yes please. I never would have thought it but these guys together are hot. But there is so much underlying emotion between these guys. It will hurt your heart. I love when a cute Christmas story gives me so much longing and hurt before it gives the MCs their forever love. This one was stellar. I can't wait to jump right into the next one.

I was afraid at first that this was a chilly one-and-done type of story, but I was wrong! Nicky and Jack belonged to each other all along.they just needed to get over themselves enough to let it happen. Thanks to an interfering sister, they lived happily ever after!

4.5 Kisses!

A Gift for Santa is the first book I’ve read by Deanna Wadsworth and it definitely won’t be my last. I really enjoyed the author’s descriptive writing as well as her creative storytelling ability. This story was not only sexy, but it had some funny and heartfelt moments in it too.

The blurb does an excellent job at describing the story. Nick Clause doesn’t look like anything Mr. Rockwell or what contemporary artists have pictured him. Well built, tall and sexy, Nick can easily walk around without getting noticed. Like his well-known image, Nick is very generous and kind and graciously looks out for others. He loves Christmas and loves to grant wishes to both adults and children. Even though Nick often puts others before himself, there is one person whom he wishes he could be with above any others and that is Jack Frost. Nick has always liked and admired Jack and ever since they shared a kiss many, many years ago, Jack has become one of Nick’s favorite fantasies.

One day while Nick is working for the Salvation Army right outside a department store, Jack shows up and propositions Nick to see him after his shift. Anxious to see Jack and spend some quality time with him, Nick readily agrees and soon the two men fall into an easy banter and into each other’s arms. This has been a dream come true for Nick, but as much as he knows he loves Jack, and as much as he wants to spend time with him, Nick has responsibilities he cannot ignore. Since Jack has stated more than once that he hates Christmas and pretty much everything it stands for, Nick knows the love he feels for him is doomed. How can he be with someone who doesn’t appreciate what Nick loves to do the most?

I loved this book. Between the intense physical chemistry Jack and Nick have together and the strong emotional connection between them, I was immediately hooked on these two characters. I also enjoyed the unique storyline the author takes us on to the North Pole and the mystical beings (including Santa Claus himself) she created. She definitely has her own spin on a well-loved character, and I really enjoyed her naughty and well…nice world she created.

Both Jack and Nick are likeable heroes. Although the story is told through Nick’s eyes, the author did a really good job at having Nick being a descriptive narrator. Normally, I prefer romances told in 3rd person because I want to know what both heroes are thinking and going through, but in all honestly I didn’t miss Jack’s thoughts very much because Nick did such a great job.

A Gift for Santa is a creatively sexy story with two interesting and loveable heroes that lived and breathed off of the written page. If you are looking for something unique, naughty and fun to read, A Gift for Santa would definitely be a great choice for you! Highly Recommended!

A Gift for Santa is the third book in The Naughty North Pole series. Unfortunately, I’ve not read the other two books in the series, but had no trouble following along with this book. It could easily be a stand-alone book. I will say I enjoyed this story enough that I plan on going back and reading the previous two books in the series soon, so I know once you read this book, you’ll probably feel the same way.

The Naughty North Pole series in book order are:

Okay this was a surprise and a shocking read!!! The shocking bit being that I did "something" Christmas before December. My friends and family know I have this issue of how commercial this has become and I have issue with some of them that believe it starts when the cola truck rolls through town....WTF!!! Here lies where my issue with Santa starts....

So, it was with a little sneer I started this story. It surprised me! Not only is Nick Claus described as a Norse demi-god ( think Thor with a short back and sides and scruff) but he has a century old love and pining for Jack Frost.....my attention was held!! I loved that Jack had exactly my thoughts of the season, albeit for different reasons, but it was very poignant at times and I wonder why we just can't take a step back and try and recapture the reason behind Christmas.....family, faith and love....not credit card bills, toy manufactures profit and kids being over indulged and never appreciating what they have!!!!

Okay, rant over....lol....

I enjoyed the story, it was escapism with a touch of cheesy realism at times and some good old fashion love, misunderstandings and mscommunication! But, not sure I will ever look at a cup of eggnog in the same way!

Season's greetings to you all :)

Santa has been so busy making every kid’s wishes come true that he has forgotten the meaning of Christmas, the importance of family and friends and, above all, how to be happy. Running the North Pole is stressing, a tiring business which takes all of his time. Maybe that’s why he has not found love. Or maybe it is because he’s had a crush for a long time with the only sprite he cannot have: Naughty and sexy Jack Frost. Jack is witty, foulmouthed, handsome … and the hates Christmas with a vengeance. Despite his seemingly dislike of Santa’s favourite time of the year, Nick and Jack have managed to keep a friendship based on intense encounters which always seem to end in an argument, and Nicky running away from the only man his heart craves. But this time Jack’s demeanour seems softer, and the result could be different, but Nick has to ponder if giving in is worth risking his heart…
This was a really sweet Christmas story. I have enjoyed it completely. Both characters are likeable; there is some humour, a bit of anguish, and a lot of hot sex. Somehow it does not spoil the tale-like tone of the story. It is a successful mix of myth, romance and light comedy. Highly recommendable.

Trish's review: I really loved this delightful story by Deanna Wadsworth. She's taken the same old holiday story and given it new life with a wickedly funny and very unique twist that makes it a Christmas tale meant for adults. If you're looking for a quick sexy read that's definitely not for kids, you'll love this.

Even better than the last one!

Another sizzling hot story from the frozen North Pole. Same great world building and holiday mythology. This one, though, is more serious and tackles issues like work life balance and the commercialisation of Christmas. Santa and Jack were both interesting characters and I enjoyed their sparring. Frieda makes an appearance and I loved her. The end is perfect for the season, especially Santa's substitute for lube.

Didn't love this story quite as much as Fun and Games With Rudolph - it wasn't as funny and had a lot of, IMO, unnecessary angst and misunderstandings. But it was still a very enjoyable read. Love the cover, too - and I don't usually like drawn covers. And OMG, - HOT!

This was so much fun! I love when authors create their own worlds on something and make it their own. I love mythology so I love the spin with the gods, sprites, etc! Nick and Jack were lovely and I love reading about the behind the scenes and their powers! ♥ I definitely want to read the others in the series! :)
