I was not aware this one was for more of a young adult audience until I started reading it. However, it was a really nice and comprehensive biography of Number 16. A lot of the photos were the same in other bios I have read and there were a few fun details I wasn't aware of.

Of course, every book on Lincoln brings new knowledge to light for me. An amazing part of American history, Lincoln came from poverty to become the President of the United States during the most challenging time to be President. He never had it easy - or good. But he pulled the country through Civil War and freed half of the country from slavery. All while dealing with personal tragedies in his own life.

This was a great summary of Abraham Lincoln's life. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to brush up on their Lincoln history without reading a large, lengthy biography.

I very much enjoyed this short book chronicling the highlights of Abraham Lincoln's life, from his very humble beginnings as a pioneer child in Kentucky and Indiana, his move to New Salem, IL as a young man, and then on to Springfield, IL where he spent the majority of his adult life before being elected president of the United States.

This book was very informative, without being bogged down with too much detail. It also contains many photographs and artists' renderings of Lincoln and the people and events in his life.

This biography is a chapter book of the life of Abraham Lincoln. It is full of pictures and asides which help visualize his life better. Through out the book there are bolded words that are then defined at the end of the book in the glossary. This is good chapter book for a student who wants to learn about the life of Abraham Lincoln.

Great overview of the life of one of our nation's greatest presidents. It is a YA title, but I would recommend it (not just this one but the entire series) to adults looking for a shorter read with fantastic explanations and visuals instead of the typical biographical tome.

I'd give this 2.5 stars - not quite 3. A synopsis of the President's life that certainly gave me a better foundation of our greatest president. Although I was looking for more, this is a good read for the reader old enough to approach a book of 128 pages.

This book is extremely boring! I fell asleep multiple times while reading it.
