Stan Kirby

When Stan Kirby was 6-years-old, he tied a beach towel around his neck and became Super Commander Beach Boy. He tried his best to protect sand castles from the waves, keep seagulls away from his French fries, and keep the beach clean.

When Stan's not creating the awesome adventures of Captain Awesome, he loves reading comic books, eating okra, and hang-gliding (but not at the same time).

as you know my favorite series is this but doesn't mean i have other favorites. so they save the day. basiclly they have a enemy and that is a dog. but he is not a nice dog he has a sharp teeth and can almost almost can kill a human being. so basiccly that dog gets covered in snow and mud so they think it a monster but then they have to try and find their dog but by mistake the main charecter spilled a little water on the dog which came on the dog and understood. that all bye guys.

One of the first chapter books my 5 year old and I read together. He enjoyed the story and pictures. He was able to read some words with me. Since he loved this book, he wanted to read more of the series!

This was a great little story that I read to my son during bath time. He enjoyed it tremendously. The main character and his best friend are a bit mischievous, but there’s a good lesson in the end!

Good choice for those readers who still need pictures, but are reading Juv fiction.

I really liked this book. I liked the part where they were trying to sneak up on somebody who put letters in their bag because it was cool that they were acting like spies. My least favourite part was when Whiney Whimpers tells on people for no reason because it's mean. Nacho Cheese Man is my favourite character because he shoots nachos at people.

I thought this book was absolutely terrible. I think the author researched the popular books for kids (Captain Underpants, Roscoe Riley Rules) and completely copied their style, verbiage, and storyline. Terrible and unoriginal. Read the Roscoe Riley Series and see for yourself.

I am just going to stop with this series. It was really great in the beginning, but it is just more of the same, and instead of finding it fun, which I did in the beginning, I wonder if those kids shouldn't see a doctor. Over-imaginative minds is one thing, but this is just beyond that. :|

Might be fun for a reader new to chapter books, but I found the switch between the actual narrative and the awesome zombie dinosaur super dude fun buzz words clunky & distracting.

I think this was the last chance I'm giving to the Captain Awesome series. It just wasn't very entertaining at all unfortunately.

This was a cute story with a good moral. My kids enjoyed all the excitement and laughed a lot at the silliness.
