It addresses the 'outer layer' of self confidence, not at the personality or therapy level. It focuses on four areas: communicating verbally, non-verbally, thinking, behaving, with typical coaching exercises to complete in each area. Probably the best is to hire a coach to support you on the journey if you want to stay on track.
