When Scotty Hazel began high school in the mid 1970s, he was oblivious to the amazing journey he was beginning. The forty year saga to realize his dreams traverses the country with characters and events that must be fictional . . . but they are not; they are real. Scotty masterfully guides readers through the candid details of the crazy twists and turns of his life. Just when readers feel they can predict what is coming, Scotty blind-sides them with something totally unexpected. Adventure, drama, romance, humor, deceit, tragedy, triumph, and inspiration; Looking Out Windows has it all.
Very interesting read and my interest was captured from page 1 to the end of the book! I went to Zimmerman jr hi and Southwestern high school with Scotty, so I knew him personally, however after he graduated (he was a year ahead of me), I lost touch with him and many others. His book was captivating in all the life stories he shared and the ups and downs of his spiritual journey along the way. I found myself laughing and feeling sad for him thru his many adventures in life. I had a hard time putting this book down - he's a wonderful storyteller. So proud for the people God placed in his life. Great read!
I'm from Michigan, so I could relate to the many places the author talked about. I loved the book! Definitely a book that you won't be able to put down.
