This was the second book that was read aloud to Violet and myself at her Bouncing Babies library program. This was a cute read and it was neat because they told us to do the types of hugs talked about when they happened in the book. It was a nice way to participate.

Everybody loves a good hug. A birds hug could be squashy and squeezy. A kangaroos hug could be fun and bouncy. To get a hug from an elephant could be happy, huge and tremendous. Little readers will learn that hugs come in all shapes and sizes. Vibrantly colored illustrations demonstrate how various animals can give a hug and that everyone loves to hug and snuggle. Parents can share this cute book with their little ones before bedtime. Toddlers can learn simple sentences along with animal names. This sturdy padded board book is wrapped in magnetic hands that enclose this easy to carry book.
