Someone desperately wants Kate Jones and her husband dead. Kate oversees a biotech company that is on the verge of rewriting the rules for drug discovery. At the same time she is trying to sustain her marriage and raise three children. On a ranch in the Texas hill country, Kate finds a retreat to escape from her problems. Between body- guards and lingering in the public eye, she attempts to lead a normal life while keeping one step ahead of the killers. In the end, Kate will be forced to change the course of history if she wants to stay alive.
I liked the sense of family being there for each other. I also loved the strong women & there trust in God. Was disappointed with the flow of this story. Was very good toward the end, but was dull in other places. I liked the book, but just felt it could have been so much better.
I enjoyed Weekend Cowboy. I loved that this family liked spending time together. There is plenty of mystery and intrigue. I look forward to reading more from this author
