THE 12 HUNKS OF HERCULEIA BLURB (BOOK 1):
I thought I was living the dream—until the fateful day I found my boyfriend in bed with my boss. As a professional copywriter, it was the tired cliche that hurt me the most.
What’s a big city girl to do but pack my bags and go solo on that Grecian cruise I’d booked with my ex? Who needs a man when you have tropical breezes, stunning vistas, and free cocktails with frilly umbrellas?
But thanks to a freak storm, I find myself washed ashore on a mysterious Greek Isle inhabited by 12 hotties determined to help me in any way they can.
What in the rom-com setup is this?
Somehow, I’ve ended up inside a famous Greek myth, tasked with conquering the very men I find myself unable to resist—despite their fur, fangs, tentacles, extra appendages, and extremely large…secrets of their own.
Danger lurks around every crumbling ancient ruin, but the longer I stay, the more I wonder if I want to return to my old life at all.
Here, I get to be the heroine of my own story, and it might just be time to rewrite history.
—
Please note: This is a slow-build group (I should hope so, for our girl’s sake… and her cat’s…), although NOT a slow burn.
The 12 Hunks of Herculeia is a medium-dark rom-com loosely based on the 12 Labors of Heracles, with many ridiculous liberties taken. And before my fellow history nerds get their togas in a bunch, I am aware that Hercules/Herculeia is the Roman spelling (it gets addressed in the book, trust.)
This book is meant for readers 18 and over.
This series includes: • MM (loads of it - with their own relationship arcs) • Multiple POVs • Cliffy at the end of book 1
Possible triggers in this series (please see inside book and author's website for more details): • Sweary dialogue • Naughty irreverent humor • An overly possessive, slightly unhinged group of men • Very spicy extracurricular activities (please see inside book for more details) • Light threat of violence with a knife • Trauma related to past death in the family, a bad breakup (with cheating), and a magical shipwreck • Ongoing familial betrayal involving lying and gaslighting • Sloot-shaming (from the Big Bad) • Snakes (one of the men is a Hydra, so he has 9 snake heads and forked tongues, and various other creatures have snakes elements to their bodies) • Signature weirdness and medium-dark elements • Greek myths with many ridiculous liberties taken
In general, please do not read this duet if you own pearls to clutch, or if you regularly ask to speak to the manager, as you and I will probably not get along.

C. Rochelle here! I’m a naughty but sweet, introverted, Aquarius weirdo who believes a sharp sense of humor is the sexiest trait, loves shaking my booty to Prince, and have never met a cheese I didn’t like. Oh, and I write spicy Paranormal/Sci-Fi/Monster Why Choose + MM, MFF & MMF romance with dark, naughty humor and a #loveislove mentality.
The Herculeia Omnibus combines The 12 Hunks of Herculeia and Herculeia the Hero into one volume with bonus content and amazing art. I hadn’t read these yet so I jumped at the chance to ARC read the omnibus.
I just love C. Rochelle’s writing style. When reading in Leila’s perspective it feels like I’m just chatting with my girl and it’s so comfy and easy in the best way. The pacing is also great and keeps you engaged throughout.
Let’s not forget the spice. This book is a cum buffet. Everyone is getting it on with everyone. I’m a total Ho for it too. All of the relationships are unique as well and that couldn’t have been easy to write. I also love how different all the main characters were personality wise. You’d think because there were so many that it would get muddy but they all stay true to who they are and what they bring to the relationship.
I hope you all pick this up. You can get signed copies (pre-order) from C. Rochelle’s website https://c-rochelle.com ! While you’re there you can also sign up for her newsletter so you’re up to date on all happenings.

The Herculeia Duet is an absolute steamy adventure. Leia are green haired beauty is a fantastic character who you instantly love and also feel jealous of. C.Rochelle has once again created a fantastic set of characters and a brilliant story that you will fully enjoy. The hunky harem of men Leia is collecting are all so different and i don't just mean their appendages ;). If you've loved her previous work you will love this. And if you've not read C.Rochelles books befoew you are missing out.
So be prepared to be stuffed to the brim, laugh out loud, just make sure you have tissues to hand, IYKYK.

12 Hunks of HercuLEIA PoV: First person, present, Multi pov ToN (Type of Narration): Kylie Stewart, Gregory Salinas Audio book length: 7h 43m Genre and Sub genre: Fantasy, RomCom, RH, Paranormal Location: New York and an obscure Greece island Time(s): Current/contemporary Tropes: Reverse Harem, RomCom, PNR, Fated Mates, Forced Proximity, Greek Mythology, mm, mfm TW/CW's: Language Rating: 5/5 Sex Rating: 5/5 graphic sex warning: Representation: LGBTQ+
The most hilarious, delightful, loose interpretation of Greek Mythology I have read. I absolutely loved everything in this book! I think for those who are “put off” by the slang in this book, I actually enjoyed listening to the audio of it much better than reading it because of Kylie Stewart’s amazing interpretation of the scrappy younger New York/New Jersey character. If you still dislike it after that? Well, then this really is just not the book for you!
This book is the OMNIBUS- it is both books in one, and it includes the bonus content as well! I love being able to read the whole story beginning to end, without stopping at that cliffhanger! The bonus stuff totally adds to the book as well, and I LOVE the spice! This book has all sorts of monsters and creatures, and it is right up there with A Lady of Rooksgrave Monor (another Why Choose favorite of mine). If you are looking for an in depth character analysis, you can check that out on each of my reviews on books 1 and 2.
Summary: Leia thought she was on top of the world. She was working towards becoming an influencer with a million followers, she had a great job (well, an ok job where she did her boss’ work better than her boss did), and a boyfriend.
But one afternoon, things started to quickly change- Leia had a strange dream about being on a cruise ship that was sinking. Waking up at work and feeling unsettled, she left and went over to her boyfriend’s house to pick up her jewelry that she had left there. Needless to say, that didn’t end well. Her niece Iola took her out to drown her sorrows in a bottle of Jack. When Leia awoke, she found that Iola had sold Leia’s second ticket, packed her bag, and made arrangements for her to travel on the cruise alone. Out of excuses, Leia could do nothing but leave.
When on the cruise, it seems her crazy dream hadn’t been so crazy after all, and a freak storm came in and took out the ship, and Leia was sent hurtling into the water, preparing herself to die, but hearing a chilling voice call out,
Safe travels, little wanderer…”
Ambrose didn’t know how long he had been on the island for. He didn’t know how long he had been away from the cave. He didn’t know how long it had been since he had indulged in the thrill of the hunt and fresh spilled blood. He didn’t know how long it had been since he had seen anyone new. But then out on the horizon, coming in from the thick fog that surrounded the island, came a ship on the waves. When the fierce waves receded, taking the boat along with them, they left in their wake a human woman.
When Leia awoke, she found Ambrose by her side. After further investigation, she realized that he didn’t quite know where or when he was, and that he was quite certain there was no way off the island. They decided they would set off the next day to get Timyn and make a plan. That night, after a growly, rough round of sex, Leia was quite sure she was enamored with Ambrose.
They set off on their journey and collected Timyn, the Hydra from the Lake of Lerna, Krysos the Golden Hind from the Ceryneian Valley, then Julias the Boar from Mount Erymanthos. Deciding the best way to appeal to the Gods was to repeat the fifth Labor, hopefully earning the God’s attention and favor, and amass a small army of man-monsters to foil Eury’s plans once again.
If you’re a seasoned Herc reader, this omnibus is worth picking up for the bonus content alone but there’s another sneaky spicy surprise awaiting inside too 😉 It’s INCREDIBLE!
If you’re a new reader, you’re in for SUCH a treat! ♥️
This duet is by far the funniest smut (said affectionately) I have ever read and I never thought I would ever say this but it absolutely turned me into a proud Weird-ho. 😂 I was laughing from the freakin “content, warnings & triggers" section in the very front of the book all the way to the end! The pop-culture references, Leia's mannerisms and the things that come out of her mouth, the guy's playful banter... I don’t think I've ever gotten so many questioning glances from my family (the dog included) while I'm chortling away reading in my own little world.
Phenomenal humor aside there were incredibly sweet and tender moments that made my heart ache in longing. And the steamy scenes? Off. The. Charts. HOT. 🔥 The “sharing”? The praise? The primal? *swoon* The taboo of it all? 🥵 There were things that made me question everything if I'm being totally honest.
The mythology aspect was really fun for me as a former "mythology kid" but I think folks that weren’t will enjoy it too. It's clearly written with nods to people that are in the know but also crafted with enough background information laid out within the story that you're not going to miss anything important ... other than maybe some of the sneaky foreshadowing 😉
Now you might be thinking, “TWELVE MATES?!?!” and I usually find larger harems too confusing, but I really think having these men/monsters represent the 12 labors of Heracles helped with that confusion. Plus they were all very much their own people, with their own personalities, fancy equipment, and *cough* bedroom antics. That aspect didn’t feel overwhelming either because while we did get some absolutely delightful group scenes, the number of monsters in our heroine's bed at any given time was kept reasonable. C. is also really great at what a lot of authors fail at: keeping track of everyone’s limbs & junk 😂 I don’t scratch my head trying to think of where someone’s something is at all with this duet and that’s honestly a miracle in and of itself lmao.
The other thing that C. Rochelle does well that I can talk about vaguely enough to not spoil anything are the relationship dynamics, especially the interconnected ones that make this such a delicious polyam why choose read. Yes, we have our main heroine at the center of this yummy 12 (13 including her?) layer sandwich but she encourages, even salivates over, her men/monsters sharing and taking part in each other. And it’s NOT in a gross objectifying gay interactions way. And their interactions aren’t just s3x, they share vulnerabilities and intimacy beyond just physical; they form genuine bonds and some even pair off to form *mate bonds* like they have with Leia. It really enriches the story in my opinion, and it makes the larger harem so much more realistic.
Now if you’ve read ALL of that (sorry not sorry) lemme tell you about the bonus content: -Some of it was originally only available to patrons of her ‘treon and/or newsletter subscribers so if you’re new to C. within the last six-ish months you probably have not read the spicy shorts and lemme tell ya, they are SPICY 😍 -I have never been more jealous of Herculeia lol -I am obsessed with Mon Reyes’ incredibly talented artwork and I am so so grateful that C. continues to work with them -You should honestly just get the omni and thank me later~
Herculeia: Complete Duet + Bonus Content (Monstrously Mythic) is EVERYTHING MY MONSTEROUS CRAVING HEART NEEDS. Included is not only both stories: 12 Hunks of Herculeia +Herculeia the Hero; but also Spicy Bonus Scenes that were in C.Rochelle's newsletter and ALSO an unpublished story. 12 Hunks of Herculeia (review from May 22, 2022) First of all, everytime I think C. Rochelle's books can't get any better, they so do!!! I don't know why this shocks me, she is a fantastic author. This is part 1 in the Monstrously Mythic duet. It is also loosely based on the Greek mytho, 12 Labors of Hercules but C. Rochelle COMPLETELY made it her own. I swear this was such a fun, steamy, comedic ride. I swear, the world building was phenomenal! Soooo, soooo good.
Herculeia the Hero: (August 22, 2022) Nooooo...I can't believe it! We made it to the end of this duet, but let me tell you it is DEFINITELY well worth the read (and future reread)! If you haven't already started this series, you need to START IT NOWWW! Leia is one of my favorite C. Rochelle FMCs up to date! I swear, she had me laughing sooo hard. Every time you read a C.Rochelle story, you expect a lot of steam, but this one...lord have mercy, is next level Hoooot!! Not only does she have 12 hunks, she has 12 hunks with unique equipment...if you know what I mean. If you are into monster/shifter smüt,RH, weird monster pęęñs, hilarious/laugh out loud, loosely based mythology, than I highly recommend this the series for you
I SERIOUSLY love this series and if I can rate higher, than I so would!!!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book from the author for an honest review 🥰
I will start by stressing this book is not for those new to the monster romance scene unless you're looking to dive into the deep end (maybe say hey to Tim and Vann while you're in there). This duology is stuffed full of monsters and their *ahem* equipment, so all those who enter beware, here there be dragons... And lions, hydras, boars, hinds, minotaurs, etc. You get the point.
First the good: the romances between Leia and her men/monsters was genuine, sweet, and varied. If you've got a particular taste, you'll find it in here. The romances between the men/monsters were even sweeter. I lived watching them grow and develop their fledgling human emotions.
Also, tons of parts were very funny! I'll get to the use of slang below, but most of the pop culture references ticked my personal funny bone. Speaking of bones, the spicy scenes were SPICY 🥵. And plentiful! You couldn't read a chapter without a new man/monster popping in.
I also really enjoyed having the bonus content directly in the book so I could enjoy the extra scenes in context. Plus the art is always fun.
Now for the not so good (but not bad): I'll be honest, the plot was confusing to me. I'll be more honest, I didn't really care as that was not what I read this book for. I think Julius and Vann summed it up best:
" 'can we stop talking about our c*cks!?' ... 'and disappoint our audience with pesky plot?' "
I've read the books twice now and I'm still not sure what Eury and Taygete's plans were or what was happening with the marketing for Gods plotline. But again, I was here for the smut and the cute romances, so oh well.
I also think the book wasn't long enough to give justice to all 12 monsters. the last two don't even get "claimed" until the epilogue and bonus connect I mean, I can't get too mad as we weren't short for action or monsters throughout, I just felt like the last 4-5 were neglected a bit.
Last, the pop culture references/slang. While they didn't always bother me, I could see how fine might not like it so just be aware that the writing style is very casual with the main character's internal thoughts being quite pop culturey - song references, memes, etc.
Overall, this is a very fun romp with sexy monster men. If you're looking for an easy, smutty time set vaguely in the Greek mythos, this is for you.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
If you have read the books individually this is still so worth picking up for the extra bonus steamy scenes! The bonus content is honestly worth the time! If you have not read Herculea yet, you are in for a treat. Corinne has an amazingly unique writing style. She incorporates humor and current events into her writing, she uses social media in her story's to add depth and plot. Herculea is a woman who is over her current life, she has a boyfriend who she caught cheating on her. They had made plans for a cruise that they planned to take together for his birthday and Herculea isn't going to go after they broke up, even though she has a connection with the area. Her neice Iola( who is also her bestie and all through this amazing book) basically forces herculea to go on the trip(let's be real it seems like fate is pushing her there anyway...) Thus commences the most amazing story I have read in a long long ass time. The men/monsters in this story desperately need love and they are exactly what Herculea needs. They appreciate her for her beautiful body and personality and intelligence and maybe a few other reasons. Please please trust me when I say read this amazing collection of both stories. Be happy you don't have to wait impatiently like we did when it first came out. All hail C. ROCHELLE
Oh my gosh, this hilarious and spicy duet was everything I didn’t know I needed!!! I really love monster romance, and C. Rochelle most definitely delivered. Leia, the heroine, was such a likable and sassy character. I really enjoyed reading her POV, and I enjoyed her interactions with all of her mates. Even though these books had a lot of spicy scenes, the books weren’t just about that. There were some pretty intense and moving scenes as well, and I loved that all of Leia’s mates had their own distinct personalities. And the bonus content!!! It really added some lighthearted humor to this, and I was really happy to read them. All in all, I highly recommend this boxed set, and the bonus content too!!!
I was lucky enough to receive this arc for an honest review 😊
4.5🌟
Look at the amazing cooovveerrrrr 🫶🏻
At this post I accept that I am a certified Ho for C Rochelle’s books
This was my first time reading the Herculeai Duet and oh boy I wish I read it sooner. Who wouldn’t love a why choose where everyone gets it on with each other?? And with fancy p€€ns😮💨🍆
Not only are these books incredibly hot but C Rochelle always has great humor and pop culture references in them as well.
I absolutely love Leia (she’s a bad bish) and all of her men. One of the best Greek myth romances I’ve read🏛️🐙
I’ve already read both books when they originally came out. But couldn’t pass on this edition with the exclusive artwork and bonus scenes!!! The cover art and interior art by Mon.Reyes is immaculate as always! The three bonus scenes were a nice cherry on top of an already snarky and spicy book. 5/5 would read again and purchase a physical copy.
My favorite Monster Duet and new bonus content all in one new book?! Yes, Please! It's time for a re-read.
Full Reviews of both books and the bonus content ⬇️
The 12 Hunks of Herculeia is the first in a duet. This monster romance book is a fun and 🥵 spin on the 12 Labors of Hercules. There is a mysterious curse and looming sense of fate that leaves Leia trapped on a island with the 12 legendary monsters she will meet there.
I love that the main character is a New Yorker and the slang. I really related to her. The inner monologues gave me life and I just love the writing style. The unique humor that the author weaves into the story really pops on the page and made this such an entertaining read.
All of the characters are well developed. All the monster men made me love them quickly and not just because they all have special anatomy. 😉
We meet 5 of the monsters in this book. I'm particularly obsessed with my "dragon" love (he's really a hydra), part cinamonroll/ part alpha, Timyn with his biting sense of humor and many magical tongues. He knows how much we monster ❤ers love dragons in our romance books. And if he brings along a certain Kraken that really knows how to use his appendages, so much the better.
But, let's be honest, I wouldn't send any of these monsters away.
The plot is actually just as interesting as the spice. And, *ahem* that's saying something. I wasn't ready for this book to end. The cliffhanger ending has me excited for the rest of Leia's story. I can't wait to see where the fates lead Leia.
Herculeia The Hero:
Oh, man what a ride! C. Rochelle delivers again. I don't think I've ever before fallen in love with so many characters simultaneously.
Leia is my girl! I find her so relatable and I loved going on her hero's journey with her.
Definitely some twists and surprises in the plot that are so well done when you look back it all makes sense.
I still really love Timyn. He's like the perfect Ho-partner in crime. Loved meeting the rest of the mates. My favorite parts of this duet has to be how these monster/men have their own loving relationships among them both separate from and including Leia. I really appreciate the way C. Rochelle writes all the relationships. Every relationship is given equal weight even if we crave more time to explore with all of them. Love is love.
I definitely wanted more time with everyone and the bonus content really delivered. We get more Timyn being his mo-ho-st Timynest self, a spicy public romp, a steamy Thanksgiving special, and much more. 🤩
Whew the spice 🥵🥵 I'm honestly still processing, but it was sooo good! So much variety and all my favorite monster ❤er tropes included 🙌
After finishing this duet all I want to do is go back, but, alas, life... Anyways, I know what I'll be reading the next time I need a vacation. This duet is the perfect read for a staycation getaway!
Well, well, well...if it isn’t my review telling me to eat my own words. I typically am not a why choose gal and let me tell you all, the thought of TWELVE men involved in this little party had me quite nervous. Yet, I’ve loved everything I’ve read by C. Rochelle so far so I decided to give this one a whirl and I am anything but disappointed. This adventure was a wild ride FULL of monster peen and let me tell y’all, I’m HERE for the monster peen, okay and also maybe the adventure.
C. Rochelle does it once again, bringing us a riot of a book, full of snark, humor, sass, and situations and inner monologues that had me downright CACKLING. Leia is a NYC goddess and I am obsessed with her through and through. She is confident, unapologetically herself, and while she may make some TSTL decisions, she’s fully aware of it and overall, I think she handled being thrust into the monster land of mythology in stride. Her development throughout the book was fantastic and I really enjoyed the bond that she formed with all twelve of her delicious hunks, each bond unique and fulfilling a part of them and herself so perfectly.
My biggest concern about this one was the fact that not only are there multiple men, but there are twelve that I have to keep track of. Yet, I didn’t have any difficulty distinguishing them from one another and I overly enjoyed their distinct personalities, each one engaging, hilarious, and hot as hell. And can we talk about the MM moments? I was in serious danger of overheating more than once while reading their delectable encounters. Plus their inter-bond bonds (is that what we’re calling it? That’s what I’m calling it.) were so sweet and I loved that these stayed true despite the addition of Leia and the thousands of years they’ve been stranded together.
While I’ll give it to you that this is well over 50% spicy times, the actual plot and mystery surrounding it was seriously well done as well. I love the tie-ins to the different labors of Heracles and trying to figure out the endgame of whoever set this all into motion had my head spinning and me powering through the pages. Watching it all come together at the end and seeing how Corinne had set us up throughout the book with little hints and easter eggs absolutely blew my mind. She’s an evil, beautiful genius.
Now can we talk about the bonus content?! We need to talk about the bonus content. The extra bit for part one had me absolutely squealing for joy, as I was distraught that we didn’t get this scene the first go round but Corinne didn’t leave us hanging and delivered yummy content beyond my wildest imagination–I love a good brat/goading moment. SIGN ME UP. The content from part two was the perfect ending to this duet and was the absolute perfect mix of sweet and spicy. I love seeing our monstrous hunks and their hero living their well deserved HEA. And while the bonus content was SPOT ON, truly it was, I’m a greedy gal and I’m desperate for more so I was thrilled to find out Iola will be getting her own book and I can’t wait for Valhalla is Full of Hunks to drop!
If you like all the books in one thick binding (or e-read), this is for you! You get the full story (the duet) plus a spicy extra bonus scene AND PICTURES! So, lets break this down: You have your awesome female Herculeia who falls madly in love with her monsters. Now, please be warned her harem grows over the two books so it is not like a wham bam thank you ma'am type of a book. However, one that you get to meet them all and explore all their fancy equipment, jokes, and just fall madly in love/lust with each of their awesome personalities. You get a story to love and tons of group play, individual love, and just all overall a medium/high burn and plot. In book 1, you meet Herculeia and see how she meets some of her monsters on an island ( one being a tentacle adonis (not the Adonis because a lot of Greek lore is present!)) and how to keep everyone safe and not being overly jealous. I do not want to ruin anything so dive into the story! There is of course some bonus scenes at the end of the first book to really make you feel contented even more with some of the characters! Then in book 2, it picks up right where it left off, but you meet more people and how they impact Herculeia and her destiny. I felt like I wanted more with some of her lovers in this book because we just met them and there was not enough time for me to fall madly in love with them. However, with 12 hunks, I understand because there is a lot of sharing. Then you get even more juicy bonus scenes. Be prepared to laugh because there are tons of puns, funny comments, and situations in general that will make you smile... C Rochelle did a great job on this series and I love how I now have it all in one place!
I surely wasn't a huge fan of ancient Greek history before, but now.... I mean, ok, my history lessons in school told quite different stories, but this one is so much more, uhm, satisfying. Leia, or Herculeia as her mother named her, finds her sorry excuse of a boyfriend in bed with her boss and decides to enjoy their cruise in Greece alone. The ship sinks under mysterious circumstances and Leia lands on a very strange island where she meets the 12 Labors of Heracles, personified as the most hunkalicious men she could imagine. (Yes, as a New York girl she can imagine a lot, but she wasn't prepared for the variety of...appendages) It soon seems like she is the mate for all of them and feelings grow all over the place. Not all are very friendly at first sight, but yeah, love wins... This happens across both books while they try to stop Eurystheus, definitely the bad guy, and Leia's mother, also kinda bad buy, from meddling, interfering and destroying their future together. Leia's niece(?) Iola joins them on the island and this little terror made the story even funnier.
Included in this omnibus are the two full length books (The 12 hunks of Herculeia + Herculeia the Hero) as well as a few absolutely delicious(!) Bonus stories.
You like Greek history, sassy heroines and hunky monsters, off the charts hot s3x (all forms, all combinations of participants, p33ns and appendages ) and are willing to sacrifice your next 2 nights of sleep...?(because you won't stop reading!...hehe) ...then go, read the TW and get this thick beauty!!!
In the vein of stories like Wicked and Cruella, 12 Hunks of Herculeia shows us that not all villains are the bad guys! I was a huge fan of Greek mythology as a kid, and as a lover of spice now, this was a GREAT meeting of those two worlds. If you are a mythos purist, then maybe skip this one because you've been warned up front that there are "many ridiculous liberties taken."
My introduction to the absolutely fantastic works of C. Rochelle was Not All Himbos Wear Capes, and 12 Hunks delivers the same level of fun alongside warm fuzzy feelings with the new addition of feeling up warm fuzzies. I love that there is a good amount of story dedicated to the relationships Leia's non-men have with each other, because a RH with ancient beings who don't have sexy times with each other is where I draw the line of suspension of belief. The non-men are all sweet, precious, lovable characters, but each in their own special way, and each with their own special equipment for the copious scenes of coitus! Seriously- the spice is insane and had me wishing I was Leia (or really any of the non-guys would be fine, too) more than once.
C. Rochelle has a distinct voice in her writing that some people might not like, but to me that voice made Leia feel more familiar, and sets the story up to feel more like you're hanging out with a friend over a cup of tea or glass of wine.
The only real complaint I have is that I think certain parts of the story and certain characters could have been expanded upon, and I think a trilogy may have helped the ending feel a little less rushed. I'm not bothered enough by this to knock a star off, though.
I say if you enjoy mythology, strong FMCs who take no sh*t, designer peens, spicy shifting, inner healing, found family, real family, villains getting their story told, more designer monster peens, characters you can't help but root for, lots of laughs, and maybe a few tears, then this is a must-read!
Welcome to AP Monster F*ckers Everyone! Taught by none other than the lovely heroine, Professor Leia 🥰

Herculeia certainly provides a well-rounded education for all us monster lovers! 😉
In all seriousness, though, I adored this duet. I’m so mad I didn’t find it earlier! I was absolutely sucked into Leia’s story from the first page and couldn’t put it down. C. Rochelle has a fantastically unique writing style that brings sass and humor to serious story telling. I adored getting to see that again with Herculeia and her mates.
I want to gush about everything but won’t spoil it for anyone. This is so worth the read if you love mythology romance, monster mates, and strong female characters!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes: - Mythology Retelling - Why Choose Romance - Monster Lover - Grumpy/Sunshine - Enemies to Lovers - MM Romance/Relationships - Found Family - Hurt/Comfort
K*nks Explored: - Breeding - Pain and Pleasure - Breath Play - Primal - Voyeurism - Praise/Degradation - Restraints - 🍑 Play - Edging - Honestly it’s just a buffet of spice, so grab a plate and dive in!
Umm holy moly, can I ask what I just read (she warned us but I was not prepared). 😱 This is a slow build technically due to the large harem but also does not keep you waiting for some “fun” to happen. 😉 I love the Leia embraces her sexuality and is not afraid to tell them what she wants. She ends up on a cruise after she finds her boyfriend in bed with someone else. Thanks to a freak storm and weird events she ends up on a mysterious Greek Isle to be meet with a sexy man and his 🍆 out. You only get to meet some of the sexy monsters, but man do they LOTS of extra appendages to keep her busy. 🥵 I love Ambrose because he was sooo good to her when she arrived, but Timyn stole my heart (broody, annoying, and always surprising me). Honestly I would take all over them any day….. PLEASE! 🙏🏽
“When in Greece, be a slut in the shee3ts. But don’t let ‘em forget, you came from the streets!” 🤣🤣🤣
I can’t wait until a little while after release bc I would love to do a whole story on all the amazing banter & quotes in this.
I don’t think I stopped being shocked or laughing the whole time. Her writing is incredible, and she really knows how to draw in her readers. The amount of research and time that went into this is phenomenal that you can’t help to get sucked in. I knew I would like this but wow I absolutely love it.
This book was fantastic! I’ve always been a Greek mythology buff, add on steamy times, a kick butt heroine, brilliant humor, and a mysterious storyline…what’s not to love! C. Rochelle created a unique and fabulously original story that had me completely immersed and fully invested! Leia was an awesome main character and her hilarious commentary and slang had me cracking up. But I also loved her acceptance of her monsters. And her monsters…wowza *fans self* talk about some delicious Greek monster loving goodness! Together all of these amazing aspects of this story made for one brilliant read! C. Rochelle took me on a quest and gave me all the feels…both smexy and heartwarming! But more than that, C. Rochelle created a brilliant story full of adventure, mystery, love, lust, and mythos that I never wanted to end. I could legit read about these characters for the rest of my life and be one happy camper! Even more so, this Omnibus gave us deliciously fantastic bonus scenes!! It was so awesome diving back into this world and revisiting my favorite characters again with some new scenes that had me laughing, swooning, and falling in love all over again!
Herculeia, The Complete Duet + Bonus Content, by C Rochelle.
C. Rochelle is one of my favorite authors. I love all of her dirty books and this is no exception. She managed to take the creatures of nightmares and make them swoon worthy! Couple that with empowering women, an introduction to some fun ancient Greek customs, lovable (and hateful) characters, and a fabulous new world, and you get Herculeia, The Complete Duet + Bonus Content. This include The 12 Hunks of Herculeia, Herculeia the Hero, THREE bonus shorts, 2 epilogues, AND UNSENSORED ARTWORK!!!
I absolutely loved this fun smexy summerish monster duet. So many hot monsters and... a monstrously terrific story to go with them. Lots of twists and turns in this one to keep you on your toes until the end. And of course C Rochelle adds her beautiful takes on free love and women's power that you see throughout many of her books. A must read! WARNING: this book may induce cravings for hydras and red velvet cupcakes!!!
When I received the omnibus, I hadn’t even read the 12 hunks of herculeia! So when I saw that both were releasing together in an omnibus *and* with bonus content, I jumped right on it!
I love the new cover designed by mon.reyes.artworks! I’ve always loved and admired his art and am so excited that C. Rochelle got a chance to work with him in such a major way!
From the beginning of the book I knew that Leia was my homegirl- and that she was down to collect her harem! She knew what she was worth and I love that it translates to 12 highly attractive lovers.
I love all the pop culture references throughout the book and how modern Leia is. It draws a hard comparison though between her and the time she is from and the time her lovers are obviously stuck in on the island.
I’m never going to be mad about a Greek themed romance 😉
Knowing I got to read this with bonus content makes me giddy, but also feel for those who haven’t- I hope they all get to come back and read through it because it’s such a nice little cherry on top! And don’t get me started on the spicy art!!! 🥵 I couldn’t have made it through this book without it, it really gave it an extra oomph.
I loved this book and I fell for each one of her hunks!!!! Herculeia is an awesome character who has a great capacity to adapt also her cousin is a great character. I am kind of mad at her mom but I can understand what she is doing. I love each an every one of Leia's mates, it is very hard to choose only one, thanks God this is RH and no need to do that. This book had twists and turns that I was not expecting and left me open mouthed in surprise! I loved how Leia grew thru out the book, how she was able to find her real self and her place in the world thru the love of her group of monsters and how they all were mates for her but also for each one of them... There is too much to say but I don't know what to say without spoiling the surprises so I will just say that you need to read this book because it is amazing!!!! Oh, and this one has bonus content!! Those new stories were awesome and took us a little deeper into the relationships inside the group, Cannot pick a favorite, you need to read the book to choose yours
This baby is THICC and in all the right places. Just wow. I did have to brush up on the legend of Hercules. But oh my god! I hate to say it but this is my favorite series of C. Rochelle. This has made it to the top! Can I be next to go an idea with people who are devoted all of a sudden to me. I’m ready to meet the rest of the crew. The plot (the real plot) does suck you in for a ride. And then the plot plot, y’all get yourself a fan and be prepared for a journey. Before anyone says “is there even a plot”. Yes ma’am bam there is, there is a lot of “plot plot” and it very very 🫠🫠🫠.
C. Rochelle delivers another binge read and so much. Probably not the best to read at work. But the relationships and the dedications and love these men have for Leia is sooo sweet. And then the relationships amongst the other men, ooo child, get yourself a fan.
If I had to pick a favorite. It would be Ambrose or Timyn. I’m excited at the tease that perhaps we will get more.
The bonus content, typical C. Rochelle in giving you just enough but asking for more.
A great monster romance for people who do not want something too serious but still want to touch on some harder topics and love their smut with a side of plot. Leia is a fun character with a crude sense of humor who puts her reading skills to good use. Our love interests, in which there are many, are very different from one another. Each one has a personality unique to them, and you get a nice exploration of who they are as people as well as monsters. They each learn to love Leia in their own time, and I definitely favored the ones that did not take to her as quickly. Some of the love interests also find love in each other and seeing those relationships grow and flower was really nice, especially if you love MM in your harems!
I wish we had more time with some of the later love interests because a few definitely intrigued me but you do at least get a chapter from them, so they are not left out.
Overall, a very fun read more focused on the growing of the relationships and characters!
These two stories together!!!!!!!????? Holy hotness!! I loved this book and all the monster 🍆🍆 it had to offer!! The Kraken and Cerberus and Hydra and Neman Lion among others!!! It's like C. Rochelle slipped into my head and took out all the best bits of my dreams! I am a fully fledged member of the weird-hos and I LOVE IT!! The story and mythology, as well as the harem/stable building is epic, I just couldn't put it down. Absolutely in love and can't pick which ones I want to make mine!!! (Although there's definitely a list!!) Once again this book transports you to hot bod monster Island and makes you NOT WANT TO LEAVE!!! And don't forget that there is bonus content not seen in the two books separately 😉. So good bye for now, I'm gonna go see if I can find a cruise ship to go sail past some thick fog whilst I cling tight to my obol 😉😉😉 See you on the flip side!!!!!

I have had this duet on my list for a hot minute and boy did it not disappoint! 😈
The 12 Hunks of Herculeia: 4.25 ⭐️s
This was a very fun introduction to this duet and the cliffhanger made me so happy to have the second book available immediately. I love C. Rochelle’s deliciously unhinged writing and wowwwww she brought the monsters to the table in this one and leaves you contemplating what other 6 monsters will be introduced in book 2!
Herculeia the Hero: 4.75 ⭐️s
I absolutely adored how this beautifully bonkers duet was wrapped up! Truly didn’t see some of the ending events coming and I enjoyed it immensely. It’s wild how much C. Rochelle managed to fit in with a poly relationship consisting of 13 separate individuals, I was impressed!
Herculeia Complete Duet: overall 5 ⭐️ read!
The cover! The bonus scenes! The artwork! This omnibus is amazing and I loved getting to experience the duet for the first time with this copy of the books!
"Once again C. hit the jackpot!! How am I suppose to have a fav story if each one of them are so great?! I know monster romance is kind of a trend right now, the ones I've read had some sort of vibe that are great that's for sure but C's stories are unique. Telling more about the plot could ruin the experience and 12HoH was so fantastic that I wish I could read it for the first time again. 10 out of 5 stars!! You won't regret it, trust me!!! *wink wink* you aren’t ready for all the spice too!
“There’s no doubt each story of C. Rochelle is unique! From the very first moment the story hooked me up and couldn’t get enough of certain monsters. You’re gonna laugh, fall in love and question your sanity lol but enjoy the ride and this 12 hot monsters that proves that ‘father in the streets, daddy in the sheets’ is a real thing. Fantastic duet!
Plus we have an epic bonus that felt like a hug to our hearts for us lovers of this story."
Do I want an omnibus duet with BONUS content by my favorite why choose, monster-fudger author? ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY!!
Book 1 (The 12 Hunks of Herculeia) was my first why choose read, as well as my first full monster romance. I immediately fell in love with C. Rochelle and her works. I have devoured everything she has written since! I love Leia's (FMC) self-assuredness and confidence. While Leia's group of men may be considered a "slow build", it's not a slow burn by any means. The spice is fantastic, these "men" definitely have some fancy accessories (wink wink) and I love their different personalities. The second book of the duet, Herculeia the Hero, finishes up Herculeia's journey, with all of her fancy men supporting her along the way (emotionally and physically if you catch my drift). AND THEN - C. gives us FANTASTIC bonus content and illustrations in this gorgeous THICC book!!
This is a fantastic duet with all Herculeai's story with all her conquests. This has fun bonus stories and even some art that shouldn't be missed!
I found C. Rochelle's books last year and I've been hooked ever since. I love the mixture of ancient myths and the modern world. I wasn't sure how she was going to take the 12 tasks of Hercules and turn them into sexy monsters, but let me tell you she surpassed my every expectation. We get to meet the first six of the monsters in this book and I'm already in love (and lust) with all of them. Leia is fun and daring. She is thrown into a crazy situation and is handling it like the badass she is. The storyline is fascinating and you won't want to put it down. Then you add in the spice and this book really comes together. I have one complaint and one complaint only.... that the next book in the series isn't it yet and I want to know what happens next!
I love when authors create omnibuses with extra content. Not having to close one book and open another is very appealing to me and the look on others faces when they pull it off the shelf and say “you read this” is an added plus. Now to the book itself.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Herculeia and her men in both the 12 Hunks of Herculeia and Herculeia the Hero. Leia’s personal growth and the men’s need for her consent made this one of my favorite c Rochelle’s worlds. I loved that although Leia was the main character we got a first row seat to the depth of the others relationships.
Don’t lets the cutesy titles fool you, Leia and her Men know how to get the 🐱🐱 going. I will forever be a fan of the way C Rochelle does why chose and MM romances.
If you’ve already read the Herculeia duet- read it again in the omnibus for that ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS BONUS CONTENT!
You’ll get to fall in love with the characters all over again, except with the omnibus you get to see even more of those drool worthy monster ✨parts✨
The high energy modernism the main character (Leia) exhibits is downright hilarious. She’s so quirky and her inner monologue matches my own, albeit with a lot more modern slang mixed in. She’s also super relatable in how she essentially compartmentalizes her emotions, leaving negative emotions to be dealt with later (aka when she’s forced to face them).
The monstrous men are incredibly well portrayed. I love how interconnected their stories are! Especially when you are adding in spicy scenes with monstrous appendages AND mm content! It was perfection! All the monster p33ns a girl could wish for 🥵😍
