Halloween, a soulless being, and wedding plans complicate the Grim Reaper's life.
With Grave Magic, Misty Evans brings us an amazing world of vampires, and shifters and reapers that feels as real as your neighborhood. For Grim Reaper Chloe, trying to balance her normal world life as she finishes up her veterinarian degree, plans her wedding to master vampire Killian, and makes a decision about renewing her contract as reaper is complicated enough with her regular reaper duties, but now she and her supernatural cohorts have to find a way to keep a unique soulless being from destroying the veil that keeps the worst of creatures from another dimension from taking over the earth and destroying or enslaving the vampires, shifters, even the ghouls that inhabit this dimension. Killian's on-going efforts to unite the shifters and vampires must come into play if they are to succeed in saving their world.
The Accidental Reaper Paranormal Urban Fantasy Series is best read in sequential order, but Grave Magic can be read as a standalone novel.

This is such a good series. Cloe has her hands full this time. She is ready to quit being a reaper and only has one more person to reap. Trinity has been avoiding being reaped for a long time so now Cloe has to get her before she can quit. The problem is, Trinity is a very powerful witch with someone helping her and it makes her more powerful. Cloe has to step back and let Killion and the other beings trap Trinity so she can reap her. As they track her, they find out that Trinity is going to open the veil so that demons can come across and wreak havoc on the world and Trinity thinks she will be in charge. Can they stop her? Will Cloe really hang up her scythe? Can't wait to see where she and Killion go from here.

How amazing is this series!! Got to the say author is amazing as well with everything she writes.

Witch’s and demons teaming up… maybe or is it something more.
Of course there is more to it but not to worry Killion has Chloe’s back always, and then there is the rest of the motley crew including Death himself to lend hand with this mystery.
There is so much magical supernatural action and adventure rolled into this story I loved every moment and I am definitely excited for more.

Chloe has a week left in her contract as a grim reaper and has 1 witch to reap and is looking forward to her life with Killion. SMG puts out an offer to extend her contract for another year but she is busy taking the vet exam and planning her wedding. She wants to out that life behind her and enjoy the last 5 years of her life. Reaping the witch ends up being more problematic than it first seemed and the witch is trying to rip the veil between worlds and create a crap show of destruction. Can Chloe and Killion fix this and move on to their happily ever after. This is such a great series and I’m glad I found it. Can’t wait for the next one.

Another winner! Chloe is nearing the end of her reaper contact and she couldn't be happier - except for a few things she'll miss once they're gone. She thinks she's developed a foolproof plan, but Death thinks he's always wiser. Add in a crazy witch and her half-breed sidekick set on destruction, and she can't catch a break.
This is a quickly moving story that fans of the genre will love. While it has lots of paranormal mystery and snark, it also has a nice progression of Choe's sexy romance with the master vampire Killion. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Chloe's managing her last year with Soul Management Group (SMG) and only has one soul left to harvest. But Trinity is noncompliant and is a powerful witch. Trinity plans to use Chloe and her magic to bring down the veil between the worlds which will bring chaos and nightmares. Can Chloe and Killion along with the others put a stop to Trinity and her plans? In addition to stopping Trinity, Chloe must decide if she wants to continue her time with SMG.
This is an excellent series which I have genuinely enjoyed and this book is no exception. I was drawn into this captivating story and kept hooked from start to finish. This paranormal romance has intrigue and suspense along with a touch of mystery which will keep you guessing while Chloe and Killion figure out how to stop Trinity who has a lot of tricks up her sleeves. I loved this book and the series. Misty Evans is a consummate storyteller. The book's well-written with well-rounded characters and a fast-paced plot. I'm really looking forward to the next book. I highly recommend both book and series which I believe is best read in order to get the most out of things, but the books can be read as stand-alone titles.

Another perfect addition to this fun series and like usual it isn't only Chloe that makes the story what it is Once again it is her sidekicks that give this latest offering its fun moments. Chloe is almost at the end of her reaping contract she just has one more soul to reap That soul just happens to be a extremely powerful witch with a shady sidekick of her own and she is intent on ruling the world. Can Chloe with the help of Killion and death himself bring her down all while planning Chloe and Killion's wedding As you can expect from this motley crew nothing will go smooth

Chloe, Killion, Death, and company are back in another nefarious adventure. Time is almost up on her contract with Death. Death wants her to sign a new contract for another year as does his boss. She has to really think about this one though. She is going to take her finals for vet school. She has a wedding to plan, and still get her dress. A new threat is on the horizon…a witch who has escaped death by dark magic. Other players appear as well that makes a harrowing occurrence that could bring about the end of all species except witches and demons. They will have to plot and plan very intricately to succeed in reaping these souls. There are many twists that will appear along the way…per usual! Will they stop the destruction in time? Will Chloe sign a new contract? Find out in the newest thrilling adventure!

This is the first book I am reading from this series and I enjoyed it. The story was compelling and kept me captivated. The blend of paranormal romance, intrigue, and suspense, sprinkled with a touch of mystery, keeps you guessing throughout as Chloe and Killion work together to stop the cunning Trinity, who seems to have an endless array of tricks up her sleeve.
Overall, it was a well-written book, featuring well-rounded characters and a fast-paced plot.
