I loved the little short randomized journal entries that read like poetry! From the Heart was very different from what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised and swept away into June’s some shocking and some endearing personal memories that she chose to share with the world! It is a shame that the movie Walk the Line was unable to tell some of these stories. They are certainly worth reading!

Instead of perspective about loving someone with an addiction, this book shares antecdotes about Cash's life and highlights what she remembers/learned from her life with Johnny.
