I'm a Times bestselling author of three published mainstream novels, Something Stupid, Seven Week Itch and Up To No Good. Something Stupid is now available as an ebook and the revisd editions of Seven Week Itch and Up To No Good will shortly be published as ebooks. I also published a genre romance under a pseudonym in the 1990's but I'm not keen for anyone to unearth that!

I live in south west France, which was the background for Up To No Good, and is also the setting for my current work in progress, a comedy romance/crime story, provisionally titled French Twist.

Very good. Sometimes it got boring but that was just before the good parts. I found that James was my favourite character as I perceived him as a private and mysterious person but reveals all after.

I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Sadly I don't know whether it is my fault by bigging it up in my head or whether it was to do with the book. Sadly I didn't really get into it or rather it didn't give me much to get into. I did get on with the storyline I mean it was rich with twists and turns but sadly the romantic part was down right boring. There was no lead up or descriptions I didn't feel like I was there. I was sourly disappointed. But it is a good read if you aren't too bothered by the lack of detail.

I read this years ago and re-read. My only disappointment is that Victoria Corby never wrote any more than the 3 novels. She's a great writer of contemporary chick lit and this is one of my favourites.
