Christmas of the Vampire

Rate this book
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Frosty the Snowman. A Christmas Carol.
In each generation a story is born that shapes the minds of millions.

When Richard Swerlin, The United States only openly Vampire Congressman, receives a letter from a little girl, he really wants to ignore it. After all, five year old kids don't vote, and only a few of the words are legible at all. No one would blame him for setting it aside.

Except that the letter has a few things only might recognize. The words "help" for instance as well as, "Greater Demon", and a scent of pure fear.

A Vampire is no match for a Greater Demon though, so he has to turn to the one being that might aid him in this task. The Mistress of Souls. The most feared Greater Demon of them all.

Now Richard and a ragtag group of unusual characters must seek to not only save little Maci, but Santa Claus himself, and if they fail, it isn't just an orphaned child that dies, but the spirit of the season.

P.S. Power

P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line.

Hello Everyone!

In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!

Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!!

This was a fun Christmas special in the Keeley Thompson books. The story was fun and had some decent tension to save Santa and a little girl from a nasty greater demon. The neat part is that Santa is a lesser demon formed from the wishes and desires of children. Our Vampire Congressmen hero is actually a great character and a way for the Keeley universe to be expanded on. We get some new background info and ideas at just how versatile Powers is with his different characters.

It works as a stand alone but I would still recommend reading the rest of the series first to get an idea who is who.
