This story really captured my attention & held it as I finished this book in a matter of hours. While Wesley was not a fan fave in the beginning, after his accident I found myself wishing him the best. The unexpected twist was a nice addition & helped make this a good read.

Very good book, full of twist and turns, the author keeps you on your feet the whole time, not a dead moment in this book.

Some words that have been used to describe Wesley Paisley are arrogant, self centered, and rude. Despite these character flaws, Wesley is a literary genius and put in the necessary work to earn the title of best selling author. The publishing company that he works for has put together a banquet in his honor and he is no where to be found. His agent, Nyla Rooney is fed up with his antics and has decided that as soon as he shows his face, she is going to let him know that she can’t represent him anymore. The only problem with that is that he never shows up. After not hearing from him for over 24 hours, Nyla begins to feel like something has gone terribly wrong. Nyla’s hunch turns out to be dead on. Wesley ran into some severe weather and ends up badly injured when his car finds itself wrapped around a tree at the bottom of a ravine. Barely hanging on to life, Wesley pulls himself out of the ravine and onto the road in hopes of being saved by a passing motorist.

Brian W. Smith’s Amnesia was a quick read. To me it didn’t take off like all the other novels that I have read by this author. After reading the back of the book, I halfway expected it to be like Stephen King’s Misery. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn’t. True to Smith’s style, it had that one twist that I did not see coming. This book has a little for everyone…some drama, suspense, and even a little romance. I would definitely recommend this book!

So...this is my first BWS read...and I already wanna throw something at him! UGH! (that's a good thing Brian!) lol...Here I am thinking the book is going to be all quick and easy and not leave me cussing and he messed me up!

Amnesia...the story of a high profile author who goes missing in the middle of nowhere! Man I tell ya...Reader beware...as the author so eloquently tells us at the end of the story, the clues are hidden in plain sight. So...PAY ATTENTION!!!!!

I can't say much about the story without giving away too much, but I'll say that it's an enjoyable read. There are unfortunately a few too many ummm...spelling errors or typos that made me read a little slower than I wanted to but for most non-nerdy folks, it shouldn't be a problem.

I'll be reading Mr. Smith again...I see a few more that have me intrigued. Gotta feeling I'll be forced to put my thinking cap on because Amnesia certainly threw me for a loop! I just remember getting to a certain part and going, "WAIT...WHAT?!"...yeah...he does that...

Wesley Paisley is a big time bestselling author. On his way to a banquet in his honor he gets caught in a horrible storm causing him to crash leaving him injured and with memory loss. He is found by a racist couple in South Carolina. Will he get back home where he belongs or will this family keep him in their reins?

I have recently become a fan of Mr. Smith. This book kept my attention from the beginning. I couldn't wait to see how everything turned out for Wesley. Like all of his books there were twists and turns throughout the book. I wish the author would gave a little bit more with some of the characters. Characters like Jacob and Malcolm played a big role in the book, yet I didn't really know them not how their relationship really added to the book.

Great book!

This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning. It was so good I couldn't put it down. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, the author switched it up and left me with an open mouth. Great job with the twists but this author always gets it right so I should have known!!!!!

What a concept. How many people do you think have actually had a terrible accident and have lost their memory?

To have an award winning author be lost in a series of storms and not know who he is, or does he?

I can't spoil the story, but know that in true BWS fashion, he will leave you with a twist at the end...

Brian W. Smith is brilliant. As usual, this book was a page turner. Of course, there is always a good twist that makes you say, WTH? Great work.

Not a bad read

This is my first time reading this author's work, and it wasn't too bad. Wasn't the best I've read, but it wasn't the worst either.
