I read these stories for the first time in 1983, and many of them are still on my mind. Fantastic collection of shorts from some of the best Spanish and Latin American writers. An old copy still sits on my bookshelf, notes in the margins and dog-eared pages. Highly recommended.

Some translations were not the best but it was a great group of stories from Spanish speaking authors
