This is about an ambitious and cynical newsman and an autistic girl who can work real miracles. The newsman is developed through the course of the book until he can see how the power he has over the girl and her work has become corrupt and damaging.

I'm loving it ...pure 80s took me back. Just suspend your rationale this is the 80s y'all. This is pure "made for Hollywood" psychological thriller a la Total Recall. Great pace with lots of cheese. I don't know if it was an actual movie but I am tracking down his other books for a perfect Pandemic read. Can't put it down great book so far. Highly recommended to take your mind off the day's worries and dive into an 80s movie scape. Talented 80s commercial- writer

A very interesting idea - what happens when 'god' is found in modern day America. Answer a newsman puts her on TV to test her abilities, and then things start to fall apart.

Overall the book was a good read, with some interesting ideas although i felt the ending was a bit of a cope out.
