Guardian Heart Crystal #2
Defy Not the Heart
A young girl, born over a thousand years into the future, accidentally steps into the mist of a war stricken land, carrying the one thing with her that can heal or destroy their land, a scared crystal known as the guardian heart crystal. As five brothers are drawn to her and become her protectors, the battle between good and evil turns to a battle of the hearts. Now, with the Crystal shattered and the enemy closing in, the last thing they expected was a spell to turn them against each other. As tempers soar and secrets are kept, jealously becomes a dangerous game between the powerful brothers. When possession becomes an obsession can the brothers keep the enemy from claiming the one person they are all trying to protect?

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobooks of this title. (Goodfm)
The Priestess has promised one of her guardian brothers that she would be his, although one other has always desired her, he had kept his own counsel on the subject. Until, their darkest foe took an occasion and used it to divide the group, with a view of using the individual's emotional turmoil against each of them.

Review:
Defy Not the Heart, The Guardian Heart Crystal Series by Amy Blankenship is a paranormal, fantasy, romance novel. This is only the second book I've read of the Guardian Heart Crystal Series. They are so good it won’t be my last. This series is unlike any I've ever read. The stories are so original. Generally the series is about a young human woman, Kyoko, Priestess of a scared crystal known as the Guardian Heart Crystal, that can travel through time. Five brothers, sexy, brave Guardian’s of the crystal and their Priestess each are drawn to her and all love her very much, and she loves them all each in their own special way. In each book the characters are the same and so is the "general" battle between good and evil, but the battle of the hearts is different. It’s great that you don’t have to read the other books to know what is going on and you don’t have to read them in order. The scenes are so intense, and just captures you and takes you along with the ride. Very entertaining. I really enjoy Amy Blankenship’s work.
