In a plastic, shallow, secular and often hurting world, we long for an encounter with the eternal God here on earth. Yet this is the God who can't be touched or seen - or can he? Tim Dearborn turns to Scripture and colorful life stories to remind us that the God known in Jesus Christ wants to reach us through our physical senses. He powerfully shows how we can be spiritually enriched through what we see, hear, smell and taste. And he demonstrates that in the fellowship of Christians we find a "truth we can touch." "Though our five senses aren't in themselves adequate vehicles for encountering the invisible God," Dearborn writes, "behind each is a spiritual sense, which when awakened opens up for us the awareness of another world." Taste & See is your guide to that awakening and a richer, more God-centered life.
