As a nursing student the kind of academics both my self and my fellow classmates take on seems like a planet compared to other majors in college it seems. One of the so called horrors we face is that skyscraper like task of memorizing all the key components of the human body from a molecular level to a more macroscopic level.I have learned since starting this journey into the world of medicine , that text books alone do not always do the trick. You as a student need to find something more that speaks to you and speaks in a linguistic manner that you can comprehend and retain. This book along with its companion offers that and more. The book is easy to understand and lays out key concepts in a way that is easy to retain without cutting short on key concepts essential to both the medical and non medical major. As of right now thanks to using this book and several others I have indicated, I have attained an A in my anatomy class. So I think my grades speak for them selves. This book is worth every penny and then some.
