While talk of innovation often conjured up images of scientific breakthroughs in the lab, or start-up businesses, we believed that innovation in the arts and humanities was just as important. What follows in this book, are the best submissions from current Carolina undergraduate students in three poetry, short fiction, and creative non-fiction. It is with both great pleasure and great pride that I present to you this collection of works from students of all different backgrounds across all different departments. But more importantly, it is with great hope that this is a step towards helping Carolina students gloriously succeed in using their talents and a step in the right direction of working toward our to-do list.
