I found this book in a pile in the corner of a room when I was a missionary in Uruguay. I like to think I have a great filter: my way of saying I can read something and easily disregard the junk and take in the good stuff. After going through my filter, this book changed my life. Right up there with Les Miserables, but not because it was written well, just because it was my first introduction to the idea that we shape our own destiny. We control who we will become and how things affect us. The power is in us. Maybe a better one for this is Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich."
