The paintings are detailed and absolutely gorgeous and the facts are good, intellectually the best part is the last page that helps young people understand how animals are classified

Not bad. Had some good information and covered quite a variety of animals. Author seemed to get lazy as the book went on though as each progressive section got shorter and shorter.

This clears up so many things for me. This book has lots of different animal mix ups such as alligators and crocodiles. I have such a hard time keeping those straight.
