Sometimes, especially when I'm brain-dead, It's easier to stare at video tutorials than read programming books. It's a bit like watching TV.
Though I've been fairly impressed with most of Lynda.com's line of tutorials, this one just barely did the job. The subject matter is a little scattered and leaves plenty of gaps for even an introduction. I couldn't determine whom they were targeting: total newbies to Flash, developers "upgrading" to AS3 from AS2, or designers just learning ActionScript. If you fall into the second category, as I did, your time may be better spent elsewhere. On the whole, though, this would probably be great introductory material for someone who falls into one of the other two categories.
