The Supreme Mystic: A Biographical Novel of the Early Years of Lord Krishna

Rate this book
Krishna lived in the farming village of Vrndavana, India about 5,000 years ago. He played the part of a son, friend, lover, and teacher, and revealed his unique personality and divine characteristics there. He also performed glorious deeds, battled demonic wizards and warriors, and spoke the highest truths and wisdom, as evidenced later in the "Bhagavad Gita" (Song of God). Krishna worked miracles that have never been duplicated. He sported and joked with fun-loving cowherds, charmed and frolicked with lovely milkmaids, and enthralled his elders with humorous antics. Protecting the villagers from all harm, he filled them with inner peace, strength, freedom, and bliss. Everyone there loved and adored him, dwelling constantly on his beautiful form, smiling eyes, and enchanting flute music. "The Supreme Mystic" is faithfully based on India's Vedic scriptures. Written as a biographical novel, it is entertaining, suspenseful, instructive, inspiring, timeless, and relevant. Persons of all faiths seeking definitive answers to life's mysteries, as well as self-realization, should find it especially useful. It can purify the heart, exalt the soul, and bring true fulfillment.

Life of Lord Krishna in novel form, fantastic!
If you have read the Bhagavad Gita and the tomes of Lord Chaitanya (Srimad Bhagavatam) you know that the story of Krishna's life is offered in chunks; it's wonderful to get the whole story from beginning to end in this style. Written by a Hindu scholar and is very well researched.
Attracts one to Krishna even more...
