The spotlight was my dream, but fate had a different stage in mind.
In the neon glow of a club, I find him. His eyes—wild and untamed—call to me. His gaze promises a future written in the stars, a melody for my heart, but as quick as a chord is struck, he’s torn from me.
Next thing I know, I’m destined for the Nexus facility, a place where Omegas like me meet their Alphas, a place where my future will be sealed.
Yet, as I learned long ago, tragedy is a shadow that clings to my heels, and when it strikes again, I seize the moment and escape the guards.
But freedom has its own price.
That’s when I crash into Fever, the world’s hottest rock band. Caught red-handed, I brace for the worst, but they see past the thief, see the Omega in me—with a secret big enough to blow up everything.
Now, I’m tangled up in their world, claimed as theirs. But I’m worried they won’t feel the same when they discover I’m not just an Omega but a broken one.
Four beats, one heart—will the melody of destiny play my song?
Pack Fever is an enthralling, emotional rock star, and contemporary Omegaverse STANDALONE story. There are no shifters included. Pack Fever is a medium to hot burn, action-packed, super steamy, and sweet scenes, with a heroine who’s always believed she’s broken and three possessive men who will burn the world down to protect her. It means the heroine does not have to choose one love interest.
Pack Fever is a STANDALONE story in the Love Knot War world that ends in a HEA.
The story was too choppy and it just jumps around too much. One tragedy after another, with no real get to know the MC. It needs more character development from the onset.
Yeah this was a no for me… like the heroine is a terrible friend. She spent more time getting banged then she did looking for her friends that she knew were in danger.

This read like it came straight from a teenager’s wattpad doc. I hate when I’m reading and you can tell the author sat there with thesaurus.com pulled up to find new ways to say the same thing over and over again. In 5 sentences we get “white-hot pain, heavy pain, burning pain, the pain is blinding”. We get it.
They give the family a fake story and then decide they need a new fake story for the public so they tell the family it was a joke, knowing that they intended for the first fake story to be true the whole time. And then it’s never mentioned again???
And the whole Nexus thing. They only care about Omegas pre-heat in order to match them with Alphas. But then it’s mentioned that people find their packs outside of Nexus, but it’s also somehow against the rules, but Nexus accepts it?
And not only did they say hey do this manager job you are totally unqualified for and have no idea how to do, but then somehow she’s the best singer they’ve ever heard and they put her on stage with zero notice or practice and she totally kills it.
The author definitely didn’t know which direction they were going with a single plot point and decided to just chuck them all in and call it good. We ended up with an almost 500 page nothing salad

This is book 1 in a new standalone series. This book is an omegaverse, reverse harem, rockstar romance. Content Warning: while the author’s note lists “details of an accident that leads to death” I felt this was insufficient as chapter one includes real time story telling in a fair amount of detail of FMC and her Dad in a nasty car accident that leads to injuries to her and his death. I would have liked to have had proper warnings in place as I’m sure would others who have experienced car accidents. Aside from the content warning issue I loved this book. I loved Danica the FMC, she was so well written managing to somehow be strong and sassy while still being sweet and vulnerable. I loved watching her character grow from this shy young girl desperate to experience life by sneaking out to the club to strong and independent while escaping NEXUS, then watching her walls breakdown with the 3 alphas. I like how the 3 alphas had different personalities that somehow fit together so well with each other but also with Danica. From Seth’s strong powerful take control energy, to Jasper’s loving can’t do enough side that contrasts with his touch her and die side. Lastly is Reed, the strong silent brooding type. Every time I thought I knew the direction this book was going something caused it to change course so it was going somewhere else, constantly kept me guessing. This book had everything, excitement, fear, misunderstandings, sadness, joy, love, spice. Highly recommended and looking forward to the next book in this series.
Omg this book was amazing! Had me in tears from the very start, so nuch deep and emitional pasts our sweet Omega and her 3 hunky rock star Alphas.
Danica is haunted by a past accident that left her scarred, grieving and lost her love for singing. 21 years of age feeling trapoed by rules, one rule broken turned upside down. Was meant to be sent away, but lucky for her she is saved my the rick god alphas from the famous band Fever.
She first met the leader Seth at the club she got caught not supposed be at. He is charming and maybe a little rough around the edges.
The drumer was her first saviour, who hid her from the people who was going to prison her, but she had a crash and escaped. Jasper is the sweet bubbly one of the pack, who is so damn gentle and kind and loving to his Omega. But can become a deadly beast in order to protect her.
However, mr grumpy Reed is an hard one to crack. Who for the most part was distant and cold towards her. But that was fear, but she wore him down to his soft centre.
The bond these 4 had was so powerful and amazing to read, I couldn't stop. Some funny moments, crazy streamy moments, sweet and deep moments. It had it all and kept you on your toes all the way.
The growth of the characters was really heart warming and sweet. They all needed eachother to heal from their broken pasts. Together they can survive anything.
"Pack Fever" is a contemporary omegaverse standalone, the first one in a new series of standalones with four omega friends and their unexpected path to finding their packs. I absolutely loved the start of this book; it had everything I need and want to get completely enamored by a book. There's suspense, the perfect amount of background to mentally join with our fmc, danger and a wonderful meet-cute with one of her men.
There's a big rockstar element to this series, and I love the fact that Danica and her men have a shared love for music. One thing that really got to me, was how close this book came to some of my personal teenage fantasies. A lot of the first half of this book came very close to some things I dared to dream about when I was younger, and this created an emotional read somehow. Although, I have to admit, my teenage self never imagined this many spicy scenes! "Pack Fever" is definitely on the spiecer side, and without any MM our girl is constantly at the center of their attention.
The HEA was somehow written in the stars once they met each other, but I still loved the developments in this standalone omegaverse, and there were enough twists and turns within the story to keep it an entertaining and fun read. If you like contemporary omegaverse standalones that are on the spicier side, this mide be perfect for you
I'm not one for Rockstar romances but I did try a couple by a couple of authors that I enjoy and guess what, I liked them. So here I am giving it a go again with Loria Rose's Pack Fever.
When this story started Danica was a little naive and innocent and by the end, she's still that way to a point. However, she did find happiness when she least expected and she allowed herself to have it too. As for her guys, they are a little complicated. My favorite was Jasper who could go from cuddly and adorable to a psycho at a flip of a switch. It was really unexpected but just my type.
The world is set up pretty much like all omegasverses with ABOs, heats, knots, and extra, including a shady government organization named Nexus. The plot was pretty much a whirlwind and I expected nothing less from Rockstars. From family drama to record executives, and crazy fans and then add in a new and complicated relationship and intense heats, it was entertaining. I loved the plot twist. There were a few hints, not much but things turned out to make perfect sense.
Pack Fever was a good read with a perfect ending. It started off with four girlfriends and turned into one wild adventure. I enjoyed Danica's story and would mind seeing her and her guys again and maybe I will in her friend Casey's story, Pack Obsession, which is up next.
Love love love this book and cannot wait to see what comes next in this series. This does end with a HEA but hopefully we get her friend’s stories to really finish off the plot holes.
The storyline is absolutely amazing. An omega is practically property of the government and not allowed to leave their parents until they are matched up BY the government (gross, right?) after running away, she’s found and taken in by a trio of rockstar Alphas. They fight the bond to her but also want to keep her.
These guys are damaged by their past but still protect their Omega and help to keep her out of the hands of the Government. When they finally come together and let her in, truly beautiful.
The reason this is a 4/5 and not 5/5 is the FMC was willing to throw away her clean escape and run to get arrested with her friends BUT then she hardly has any concern for them after the wreck. I’m sure it’s because of each friend will probably end up with their own story but it didn’t feel true to her character and I was left wondering the entire book for some type of update. The last reason, how can you form a relationship without telling the guys you live your trauma. That wasn’t given until the last bit of the book. Once again, this just seemed unlikely because it made up so much of who the FMC was.
This was a great little omegaverse. It is told from a multi POV and has plenty of danger, chases, and an omega that needs the help of one great pack of rockers.
A decision to sneak out with friends has Nexus taking Danica to their facility early. Misbehaving omegas need a firm hand...according to them. But before the bus can get there, it is attacked by some very dangerous men. Danica is separated from her friends and slips down the side of the hill in her escape. She stumbles into a small town and into Jasper's sight. Her trying to grab his phone leads to her being pulled into Pack Fever's home and their lives.
By protecting her from Nexus and possible omega traffickers, Seth, Jasper, and Reed will have to figure out where and how this little omega fits with them. And it doesn't help that they have a contract with their record company that they have to be single.
This book was very entertaining. Danger, action, and a rock band with issues makes this an interesting story. It could be read as a standalone, but I'm looking forward to seeing what Casey's story is in the next book.
Pack Fever by Liora Rose is an Omegaverse rockstar romance that is part of the Love Knot War series and literally starts out with a bang! Right from the start this book, and it’s captivating FMC Danica will suck you right in and hold on till the very end! If you like your omegaverses more on the medium burn side, but still packed full of steamy sweetness, spicy heat, possessive alphas and tons of action then this is the one for you!
Danika has had a hard tragic life, and feels like she’s broken and will never deserve happiness. When one night out with her friends results in her being taken to an Omega facility ahead of schedule to be reformed/tames, she really losses hope. However in true Danika fashion, tragedy continues to strike and her bus doesn’t quite reach its destination—and while on the run once again, one chance encounter with one of the hottest rock band out there (and its equally hot and possessive members Seth, Jasper, and Reed) changes everything and suddenly there may be a little happiness for our girl after all! Full of action, danger, suspense and steam this book has it all!
Danica only wanted a night out with her friends, but when they're caught, the Omegas are rounded up to be sent to a Nexus facility. No Omega wants to go there. When disaster strikes, Danica escapes and ends up hiding with the world's most famous rock band, Fever. As she starts to fall for the hot Alphas, she's still on the run from Nexus, but will they catch her and rip her away from her happy new life?
This is a fantastic standalone reverse harem Omegaverse romance. It's every girl's dream to meet their favorite rock band, but to meet them and bond with them, oh my! Danica's story starts with tragedy and my heart immediately went out to her. The accident made her give up on her dreams, and seal herself away. Yet she doesn't expect to end up with Fever. Three gorgeous Alphas who want nothing more than her happiness. Of course it can't be that easy. There's too much at stake for all of them. I can't wait for more in this series!
This was a fantastic Omegaverse RH romance that, while I normally stay away from rock star romances, I couldn't help but dive into to see how things would unfold. Danica is an omega that has a tragic past and she's given up her dreams to try and atone for something that wasn't her fault. She gets into trouble and bumps into Jasper, who kindly helps her out. Little did she know that he was one of three alphas that are part of a band she's fangirled over ;) The bond these 4 had was so powerful. I loved the character growth and how they managed to fit all their differing personalities into such a cohesive unit. And that the guys were able to coax her into opening up to her life long dream - and it was wonderful to see. Expect to feel all the feels when you dive into this story, and the danger, suspense and heat, too ;P I'm really looking forward to the next book to see where the author takes us with Danica's friend Casey. Can't wait!
This is an incredible fast-paced Reverse Harem Omegaverse book that hooked me from the first heart-wrenching chapter. Danica, is dealing with a tragic past that has dramatically changed her life's direction. As an Omega, she's on the run from Nexus, a strict academy that trains Omegas to submit to their Alphas. One night out with her friends changes everything when she gets caught by Nexus but miraculously escapes and encounters her mates—three rockstar heartthrobs.
Jasper, Seth, and Reed are exactly what Danica needs to heal and grow. Their connection is electric and undeniably perfect for her. However, there's a catch—they're a famous rockstar band constantly in the public eye, making it incredibly risky for an Omega trying to stay hidden.
This story is a rollercoaster of emotions, with thrilling twists and a steamy romance that will leave you breathless. I'm not a fan of rockstar romances but this one was excellent -- I highly recommend it!
I wouldn’t be surprised if AI was used to help write this because there were sentences that just didn’t make sense because they strung together two concepts that just had nothing to do with each other. Like at one point it says something like “as the lead singer of our band, he knew as well as I did that if we left her she wouldn’t be here when we got back,” which…. Why does being the lead singer make him know that? It doesn’t make sense.
The author also can’t seem to keep track of when events happened and mentions them before it makes sense to.
Like they mention that Seth told them that she was picked up from the club before he could have possibly told them that (and possibly before he could have even realized that) and before she’s even aware that any of these guys was possibly the one from the club.
It was like someone wrote a list of events, through them into ChatGPT and asked it to make a book out of it.
This story follows Danica, an Omega who does not obey the rules. Haunted by a traumatic accident in her childhood which claimed the life of her father she spends the weekends going to clubs and drinking with friends which for omegas is forbidden. Unfortunately getting caught gets her and her friends a one way ticket to an Omega facility run by Nexus who will match her to a pack not of her choosing. When a car accident leads to her escape and sends her into the path of Rock band Fever will Nexus recapture her or will she manage to evade them and find happiness with these men who could very well be her fated mates? This was a great story. It had excitement, heat and danger and a strong storyline which keeps the tension ramped up and will keep the reader on the edge of their seat. At the end we get a lead in to the next story which will be about Casey, one of Danica's friends and I really can't wait!
I loved this book!! It wasn't your typical omegaverse book! It wasn't love at first sight.. maybe lust at first sight! The FMC Danica is at a club with her Omega beasties and they are caught by Nexus to go to the academy where they will learn how to be obedient omegas get alphas chosen for them The bus crashes and they all make a run for it Danica runs into and Alpha who sees she's in trouble and in need of help With his Packs help they hide her from enforcers searching for her But when she realizes which Pack saved her she Fangirls so bad Its her favorite Rock Band!! Fever! They can't help but be drawn to her scent but cannot do anything about it as their contract clearly states no engagements, marriages, or ratings! They need to appear available for their fans But what happens when her heat comes on and they cannot resist helping "their" Omega??? I loved every minute of this book!!! It is a standalone with each book being about the Omega girls from the club!!! Next up is Casey!!! I cannot wait for Pack Obsessed!!!
Pack Fever is the first in a collections of standalone stories that follow four friends, four omegas, who don't want to follow the rules.
This one follows Danica, whose dreams of being a singer are dashed thanks to a car accident in her teens. Several years later, a night out with friends turns all their lives upside down.
Danica is one of those FMCs who is a lot stronger than she gives herself credit for, and a large part of the story is watching her grow as a person. Her alphas are definitely the growly kind with marshmallow centres for their omega. And they're rock stars, gotta love a good rock star romance.
There's an overarching arc to these standalones, which becomes more apparent in the last few chapters. One of the things that intrigues me about omegaverse is the politics, and I'm curious where this set up will go.
This was such a great story filled with all the angst! It's not your typical Alpha/Omega story which I loved!
The FMC, Danica, has given up so much in her life that she has become jaded to everything, including love. That is where a rock band called Fever come into play.
Jasper, the obsessive yet sweet Alpha, the drummer in the band, Reed, the protective yet angry alpha, the guitarist of the band, and Seth, the charming yet demanding alpha, the lead singer of the band.
All of the alphas are just what Danica needs yet, will her past trauma and struggle with love let it play out? You'll have to read to find out but, trust me you won't regret it.
It is a standalone but, I can't wait to read the next two stories in this shared universe!
I am a big fan of RH/Why choose story lines and can be quite critical about them. I can say that I enjoyed this book so much I pre ordered the next two in the series. This is part of a series can be read stand alone.
When a freak accident happens Danica decides not to follow her dream. Now an Omega who likes to push the rules in a world where this could get her into serious trouble with the Nexus, a place feared by Omegas. Nearing her first heat cycle she needs the support of Alphas to ease her though this period.
Can Fever, a popular band whose members are 3 sexy strong alphas, be just the ones for Danica?
I really loved this book. I found myself drawn into the plot and each character. Thank you Liora Rose. I highly recommend this book.
After a tragedy Danica swore she would never sing again. She’s also an omega hiding from Nexus. When she and her friends decide to have a night out she meets a sexy alpha but also gets caught by Nexus.
This had a lot of tragic backstory for a few of the characters that really pulled on the heartstrings. Danica faces her fears, she’s a survivor and on the run. She happens to be found by a famous alpha rock band Fever and struggles with her insecurities. Jasper wants her from the start, Seth does too but Reed is a bit stubborn.
It’s a quick read with lots of action packed moments and lots of steaminess. I’m interested in seeing where this series goes.
Pack Fever is a standalone story in the Love Knot War world. All I can see is, be ready for the emotional rollercoaster that comes with this book!! This is rockstar romance that follows Danica, a sweet naïve FMC. Omegas are treated horribly (practically owned by the government) and she decides to run instead of staying with her parents. She runs into three rockstar alphas who help her stay out of the training academy’s hands. Her connection to Seth, Reed and Jasper is hot and immediate from the get go, but is it safe for her to be with such public figures?
I loved this book and can’t wait for more in this world to hopefully give us more of a view into what is happening. A fantastic read!
I really enjoyed this story. Danica goes through some traumatic incidents, which send her life sideways very quickly, but seeing how she recovers and lands in her ideal situation was so good. Literally running into the Fever Pack, was challenging yet very rewarding for her. Between Seth, Jasper and Reed she is smitten, as are they. There are always bumps on the road, and the fear of being caught by the authorities keeps them all on edge. I love how they all come together and get to know each other. The way their relationships develop and grow as they get to know one another, and the way they overcome their own demons is great. Of course there is intrigue and chaos as things develop, but they all get their HEA. A great read!
Way too many plot holes on this. It started out pretty good and had so much potential but started to make no sense. Why would they entertain the idea of an omega when they could be sued and have no intention to bring a relationship public? Why introduce her as your omega if it was such a big deal and have you sued and then blame her when his mom gave the ring and people assumed things? Why would an unaccompanied omega on the verge of heat get to go on tour but not go to a night club? Also if they are all in the news about being at large but she goes around all these people and no one suspects a thing? Maybe they don’t have their photos out there? I just could finish after all this.
This story followed our girl Danica. I think Danica was most relatable with her fight and fire despite having some pretty deep rooted trauma. My favorite part of the entire book was how they portrayed heats as a gradual thing that slowly builds up as opposed to being something that slams into a person suddenly. It gave us the opportunity to build the relationships up more authentically instead of just tossing characters together quickly and finding ways to make it work later. The end of the book admittedly wasn't at all what I thought it would be but I thought it ended in a really gratifying way.
Standalone (but there will be more books in the shared universe- eeek!!!) Alpha/Omega Rockstars No MM 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
The FMC, Danica, has given up so much in her life that she has become jaded to everything, including love. Insert *FEVER, Rockstar Band…. 🥵
Meet the Alphas!!! Jasper: obsessive/sweet Alpha, drummer Reed: protective/angry Alpha, guitarist Seth: charming/demanding alpha, lead singer
All of the Alphas are exactly what Danica needs. The only questions you need answered are will her past trauma and struggle with love let it play out? Well… go and read it and find out!! You won’t regret it!!
Liora shows just how to overcome the odds in this awesome standalone book! Danica has had her whole world shattered multiple times when she stumbles into the members of pack Fever and they realise that they are true mates and determine that they are going to protect and cherish Danica. This sets off a wild ride of emotions and events for all of them. Dive into this wonderfully written book with complex characters and plot twists that keep you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what happens next on the way to a well deserved HEA! I loved reading this story and highly recommend it! Don't miss out on this book!!
"Pack Fever: Omegaverse Romance" by Liora Rose captivates with its blend of rock star allure and Omegaverse intrigue. The story follows an Omega who escapes the Nexus facility, destined to meet her Alpha, and instead finds herself entwined with a famous rock band. The novel masterfully balances steamy romance and emotional depth, exploring themes of destiny, love, and self-worth. The protagonist's journey from feeling broken to finding acceptance and protection in an unconventional family is compelling. With its medium to hot burn and heartwarming HEA, "Pack Fever" is an exhilarating standalone read in the Love Knot War series.
I love a good rockstar romance, add in some omegaverse and it’s golden.
With the government controlling every aspect of omega life, is no wonder Danica finds herself carted off to Nexus for bad behavior. With a twist of fate, she lands into the arms of rockstars.
Damaged by their past, Seth, Jasper, and Reed can’t help but come together to protect their omega. With the government breathing down their necks can they come out on top?
This story is highly entertaining, with plenty of danger, chases, action, and 3 wounded souls needing their omega to connect them. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions that’ll keep you entertained.
This book has everything -- mystery, suspense, spice, love, triumph, sorrow. It runs the gamut and my emotions were drawn along with the author's words. I can't wait for Casey's story next but woof be prepared to stay up late reading this book. There are graphic descriptions of two separate car accidents along with some descriptions of abuse from a parental figure. The interpersonal relationships grow along with the story giving us new insights into the character's histories. I just wish I could hug all of them! You won't regret reading this book!
