Very, very, masterfully translated.

As a born Muslim, I have been practicing the recitation of the Qur'an since childhood. Often, I found myself reciting without truly comprehending the profound messages of Allah. The Oxford translation left me astonished at how I had been 24 years Muslim, somewhat disillusioned about Allah's messages and the depth of His teachings.

This translation profoundly touches my heart - deepening my love for Allah and Islam like never before. I often read it alongside Nouman Ali Khan's tafseer videos.

as a Moslem, I really appreciated this translated version. it's easier to bring anywhere because it feels more like ordinary books. I absorb every version and it makes me more understand about the meaning of every verses in Qur'an.

I was having my hard times but this one just be the one that calming me down. Thankyou, Quran & Allah, for always being there for me — always listening & understanding. No one human in this world can ever doing that to me.

About life, yes, maybe it will be that hard, hurt, or even heartbreaking. However, over the years I have learned that nothing ever goes wrong. It might not happen according to my plan but to His. And I feel perfectly safe, knowing that what He chooses for me — was chosen by Al-Kareem, the All-Wise, and Ar-Rahman, the Most Merciful.

I just took the writer’s writing here since I am also currently reading the whole Quran’s tafseer and had already read the whole translation before reading the book. I love how it objectively introduces us the brief explanation of the Qur’an in a concise manner before giving the translation. I also adore how it gives us the summary of each sura that I can gain something valuable for.

I truly enjoyed how the Qur'an discusses themes of nature, reason, and its flexible set of rules in its religious construction. However, the passages on women and this reinforcement of male domination especially the passages on several wives and abusive behavior were far too prevalent.

Handy to toss around with. Whenever I used to roam around my room, I'd pick this up to go through the highlighted lines over and over again. Calmed me down in tough times. Eloquently written and well translated (in some esoteric parts, explanations are provided as well)
