Mrs. McThing, a comic fantasy, opened at the Martin Beck Theatre on February 20, 1952 and played there until March 22, then played at the Morosco Theatre from March 25 through November 1, transferring to the 48th Street Theatre, all in New York City, on November 3, closing on January 10, 1953 after running for 320 performances.

Lovely and enthralling, magical. While it perhaps does not have quite the broad appeal of Harvey, this is a play for dreamers. A thing of beauty.
