Very Good Hardcover The Bruce Publishing Company. later reprint of the 1953 edition by the publisher, Roman Catholic Books . Very Good. Hardcover. 1953.
A psychology book and just as the title suggests: a study of how to live sanely and happily in a world that seems to be going more insane every day. It was written in the 50's but the ideals have stood the test of time remarkably well. It has many New Testament Bible passages as examples on how to keep (or find) your sanity and contentment in this world, so those that are anti-Christian may not like it but I believe most others will. I've found that the technical psychology words are kept to a minimum, so even the layman should be able to understand it, though it's a tad on the wordy and dry side.
Didn't exactly read the whole thing because it was so nauseating. But it was really interesting to read the presepective a 50's Catholic priest. you know, because their viewpoints aren't obvious... I don't know, it was terrible.
