Un gran lavoro in particolare è stato fatto per tradurre al meglio le poesie presenti nel testo e i giochi di parole dei personaggi, lasciando il loro nome così come appare nel testo in inglese (ad esempio, Gatto del Cheshire al posto del più conosciuto termine Stregatto )
Alla fine del libro sono presenti informazioni e curiosità sull'opera e sulla ragazzina da cui tutto è partito.
I dodici capitoli che compongono il libro sono accompagnati dalle splendide illustrazioni (quasi cinquanta!) della prima edizione del 1865 ad opera dell'illustratore John Tenniel.

Forse è questa edizione in particolare, ma ha deluso qualsiasi mia aspettativa. Tralasciando gli errori di battitura, le immagini sfocate (alcune doppie ed alcune proprio assenti) ma essendo un edizione Amazon KDP me lo aspettavo. Contento praticamente assente, morale assente... vorrei indietro il tempo perso a leggere questo libro, sinceramente. Proverò a leggere la versione inglese che ho già in possesso, questo libro è decantato da tutti per i suoi forti giochi di parole... ma se in un edizione italiana non sono minimamente presenti deduco che problema sarà questo. Spero.
