This is basically a rip-off of Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech. It's readable enoughand somewhat impressive given the author's age, but why it was ever published is beyond me.

Very imaginative and fun. Even more impressive when you realize this was written by a 10 year old girl.

I LOVED this book. Even though I recently read Walk Two Moons, and they’re pretty similar, I loved it. I can’t believe someone my age wrote this!

I've had postcards advertising this book for quite some time so when I saw the book on a list of recommended reads, I thought, "Why not?" Here is the summer journal of Pru, in which she chronicles thoughts on her summer reading assignments, family embarrassments, tensions between her two best friends, and her growing awareness of cute boys. It's the summer before fifth grade and Pru is in that awkward time between childhood and the teen years. This was a quick read. I think young girls would enjoy it.

A fun story about a girl going into the fifth grade. Its in diary form, obviously, which is one of my favorites. I didn't realize it was written by a fifth grader until i was half way into the story, cool! You can sort of start to tell though. Its a quick moving story.
