This story, following the character Davinci McCaskill, is a well-crafted work of fiction that explores the complexity of self-identity and purpose.

The writing style of the author drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked throughout the entire story. Each scene was described in such a way that I felt like I was sitting in the room with the characters; I could almost smell Davinci's apartment.

The story gained momentum with each chapter, and as it progressed, so did the elements of fantasy. I loved how each character developed throughout this novel. In many instances I felt conflicted about them, and in all cases, connected to each of their stories, struggles, and motivations.

The theme of self-discovery is embedded in every page of this book, and as I was reading, I kept thinking to myself that true discovery happens outside of our comfort zone. But, in Davinci's case, so much more exists there as well.

I truly enjoyed being immersed in this story, and look forward to reading the other novels written in this series by a talented author.
