Drowning, Resurfacing: Notes On Heartbreak & Healing

Rate this book
Drowning, Resurfacing is a collection of prose and short essays about heartbreak and healing.

Separated into two Drowning and Resurfacing , it is a book that confronts the heart-wrenching but relatable reality of lost love, unhealthy relationships, and the deepest darkest emotions that come with heartbreak. It also tackles the how’s and the why’s – how childhood attachments impact our future relationships, why we are drawn to toxic people, how trauma impacts the mind and body, and why we repeat unhealthy relationship patterns. It is a book that will help you to heal your heart, and remind you of what you truly deserve.

Had some very deep concepts and I appreciated her writing and poetry. However, I felt like I experienced half the book from TikTok which is what caught my eye to read it in the first place. Looking forward to seeing her progression with other books.
