I really like this Spanish language series. I have worked at language from several different angles over the years, but I find that oral repetition is my best mode of learning in a way that helps me when I travel. I can read reasonably based on both French in school and Spanish dribbling into my brain over many years, but to get a basic comprehension of what a conversation is about I have found this invaluable. I will continue on with Vol. 2 and look forward to my next trip to Latin America.

This book is just a list of repeating words and phrases. What would really be useful is an explanation of grammar such as: ser versus estar with examples, por versus para with examples, imperfect versus preterite with examples. A section on accents would be especially suited for audible. Don't waste your money on this.
