Book #1 in clean cheesy romance series, Despite the cheesy-ness it is refreshing to read a book that has Christian values and touches on the Christian faith. This first book kicks off the whole premise for the series that a Man Run town-Smitten- is slowly going to be reinvinted as the love capital of America once the once prosperous man run industry closes down. In step the 4 woman of Smitten.
The writing is decent, and the men are a bit "too lumberjack" in my opinion-but hey I will take that any day over Abby Jiminez's men who have man buns.....

This was a nice little book. I understand it is probably more just setting everything up for the rest of the novellas in the series. The one this that really annoyed me was the progression of time. It seem all messed up and I was confused several times throughout.

This is Colleen Coble's short story that is the first part of the book "Smitten." It was a cute story, but when you condense stories down to this length, you do miss character development, depth of plot, etc. But Colleen Coble does a very good job with a story this length.
