[Royston Of Book Odyssey]

Found this book in a charity shop and couldn't resist it. It tells the story of Richard Leigh, aka Beaver Dick and his native American Indian wife Jenny. The story is well written as we learn about their life living in the Teton mountain region. At times they had it real rough as they brought up 5 children and the ending was so tragic it brought a tear to my eyes. The author also introduced a fictional character named Carrie Hill who was orphaned after her family were killed by native American Indians. In my opinion it's a very good little novella, easily read over a few hours 😀😃

[Guen Dyal]

As a history girlie, I loved this book. As a softie, what the hell.
