Interesting play inscribed in poetry. It’s written in a dark fairy tale of a young naive prince by name of Tancred wracked with darker guilt: the slaying of his father, a betrayal of his friend, and heartbreak of his wife. Why all this for the pathetic, and elusive kiss of a dark sorcerous seductress known in whispers the illusory Lilith. She’s dealt death, despair, and hardly any happiness as Tancred knew so well. Good play but too talky.
