(-"whose chopper is this?"
-"zed`s")
ustvari je ime tarantinove djevojke...)

i tak. radije gledam njegove filmove nego čitam nevješto sklepane storije o njemu.

This book was awfully good, with plenty of idiosyncratic details on mr Tarantino. Some of the anecdotes were eyeopening but overall this book was insufferable.

Never read anything faster. I was squeezing in pages whenever and wherever I could. Easily my favourite Hollywood Cinderella story that also reads a little like a super villains origin story. And yet, his movies are so good, arghhh 🫣

Well, depending on how accurate it is, a pretty engaging and revealing look at the man. Some of it seems slapped together, some parts a bit tabloidy (delving too deep into otherwise insignificant salacious tales0, but I enjoyed it. Didn't read it all the way through, but most of it (what else is new?). Worth a look.

It's a darn shame that the author found it necessary to repeat the word "Quentin" over ten times on every single page. I only found a handful of pages without that word. Where was the editor? Was there even an editor to point this out?

Maybe a subsequent edition can find a way to find a pronoun or delete some of the thousands of times the word "Quentin" appears in the book. ugh.

Fast, easy read. Did a great job tying together Tarantino's early life and days to his two big screenplays - True Romance & Natural Born Killers - and his two big movies - Reservoir Dogs & Pulp Fiction. Book slowed down a bit after that, but so did Tarantino. Lots of great references to what inspired Tarantino, write them down and check out!

This is quite an informative read. Along with telling you about the man, it also doesn't shy away from his bad, sometimes disturbing behavior towards a few people in his life.
