Great to have Nick find his woman but boy didn’t he have to have a lot of patience. Nick, like his two brothers, has his self doubts due to their ratbag of a father.
Loved having more interaction with Mamie, what a character.
But I just didn’t warm to Silver/Glynis at all. Her temperamental attitude was off putting.
Her actions due to the loss of her twin were semi understandable, it would be hard to have that family pressure on you but she came across as immature. Running away from home when her parents had already lost one child. Selfish, though still understandable to a point. Cutting off interacting with ones family, extremely immature.
I kept expecting her to grow and mature but when she threw Nick’s ring into the lake, I was done with her.
I loved having the other Tallchiefs as part of this story though.
I bought this book in paperback 20 years ago and still have it to this day. This series of books has moved through many houses and countries with me.
Cannot wait to have them all in ebook format for easier rereading.

I'm rereading this whole series and I have to say this is the one I liked the least. A good story but I just didn't like it for some reason. JMHO!
