5 ifly stars!

Words cannot express how much I love this series. I’ve re-read all the books. Some 3-4 times. All my friends know how obsessed I am with the Keatyn Chronicles. I am both saddened and super excited that this amazing series is coming to end.

So we had
Stalk Me.
Kiss Me.

Date Me.
Love Me.

and now...
Hate Me.
That title alone was enough to make me nervous. I mean, who could hate Keatie? She is the greatest!

It is so difficult to review these books. I want to say so much, but I don’t want to ruin anything. Here are some things you have to look forward to...

 photo 88d60fb4-fbf9-46c1-91ba-921e147a87e9_zps1875c508.jpg

Keatyn is at a crossroads. She can fight, or she can wait patiently and see how things play out. You know my girl is a fighter. She is selfless, protective, and kick ass. She will do anything for the people she loves and she needs her situation to be over. Not only for herself, but for her family and her friends.

Now onto Keatyn’s BOYS <3

One of the best things about this book... it had a ton of Aiden. My God of all Hotties. Aiden is the sweetest, sexiest and swooniest guy around.
“You and me. That’s all we need.”

 photo cceac540-d4c6-472c-952a-f1456f9ee123_zpsa8728173.jpg

Then there is Brooklyn. B is Keats past. Will he stay in the past? I hope so. B has never been my boy... but we’ll have to wait and see if he’s Keats.
It’s where we END UP THAT MATTERS.

MY Riley. I loved the little bit of Riley we got. But I missed my boy in this one! He was still as sweet and amazingly hilarious as always, but I wish we would have got more!
“I don’t know who my naughty Santa is, but I’m in love with her already. I got pink furry handcuffs. Do you think the house elves will install an appropriate headboard?”

Dallas is also a favorite of mine. He is just too cute for words <3
“Your hair is just too cute like this.”

“What is it with girls? They all want to rub it. I’ve started saying, ‘if you rub it three times my genie will pop out.’”

And finally, Cam. Riley and Dawson’s older brother. I was happy we got more Cam in this book!

Keatyn made a huge choice at the end of this book. The choice didn’t shock me, but how it happened did. November can’t come soon enough! I can’t wait to see how this series ends and who Moon Boy will be...

 photo 7486f470-0800-4898-a19f-e8794e8aa9c3_zps2303ecaa.jpg
If he really is my moon boy...
My fate.

Then he’ll understand.
Someday.

This entire series is fun, unique, faced paced and well written. I love everything about these books. When one is released, I drop whatever I’m doing and just READ until I’m done. I can’t help it. I want to savor them, but I usually just binge until I’m finished. I love the humor, the action, the steam and the love & friendship. Keatyn makes these books. Her boys are awesome, but she is an amazing heroine. After reading all 5 books, I can’t think of one single second I didn’t love her. For someone who gets annoyed easily by heroines, thats saying something! If you haven’t read this series and you’re looking for some YA greatness, pick them up!!!!

SPOILER FREE REVIEW -mature content reader discretion is advised.
4.5 STARS out of 5
Genre: Young Adult Romance/Suspense

4.5 IFLY STARS!!!! I took my precious time and I posted zero updates because I want people to read and get the full experience that is Stalk Me. Kiss Me. Date Me. Love Me. HATE ME.

Be prepared Jillian Dodd did an AMAZING job! This book is daring, angst filled emotionally charged and shocking! Excuse me while I step away to sip on something.

 photo 19_zps52fa8420.gif

Ok, I’m back now. Honestly I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. My thoughts are so scrambled. Alright here is what I can say while keeping it as spoiler free as possible.

This book left me breathless with sweaty palms and my heart racing a mile a minute.

How is you ending up dead a win? -Cooper

Fight or Flight, in Hate Me Keatyn has had enough. She is done with allowing Vincent to be in control and she’s decided to take things in to her own hands. Every choice she makes puts her in a life or death situation. Meanwhile, everything with her and Aiden is perfect well as perfect as things can be. As for Brooklyn it seems like he is slowly slipping through her fingers. Or is he...

Keatyn longs for things to be back to normal. She wants to be reunited with her family. Or if anything have her family united and out of harms way.

Character Breakdowns

Magnifique
Keatyn steps up in a BIG way in this book. She is bold, tenacious and cunning as she faces off with her enemy in a very unexpected way. I cheered K on the whole time and so will you. I felt her highs and her lows. She became selfless in a fight for her life. Her freedom. Readers will not be disappointed.

The Boys
SWOOOON!!!Every scene with Aiden left me swooning. Be prepared ladies he is panty melting and oh so sweet!

Riley and Dallas are still adorable, funny and lovable!

Jake, MAJOR SWOOOOON!!!!!!

Dawson…Dawson surprised me a little. In a good way ;)

Brooklyn is….well Brooklyn *rolls eyes* I kind of felt bad for him at one point though.

"ifly = I fucking love you."

Fans of the series will definitely enjoy this installment as Keatyn ends up heading back to school. Great scenes with the gang at school involving all sorts of activities as well as a lot of time spent with ...

description

There were very steamy scenes as well as Keatyn trying to lure Vincent to make a move on her in an attempt to put an end to the danger that has separated her from her friends and family.

Sadly, my guy seems to be out of the running (Dawson- Please Jillian give him another shot!). The God of All Hotties was complete perfection in this book and once again I found Brooklyn to be a major disapointment.

A reader will be excited that Jillian Dodd has definitely narrowed the playing field down to two guys for the Moon Boy big reveal!!!

"Aiden knows part of me. The me I've become. But part of me is home with my family. B knows the old me. He knows my family and understands my life. Neither of them know all of me."

The ending was terrific and I'm hyped for the finale and hopefully some amazing spin off series.

This is installment of The Keatyn Chronicles was a bit slower. Hate Me had that transitional feel, so while some very important things happen, it wasn't quiet as entertaining as the other books have been. That said after the 1/2 way mark, I was very interested - things pick and heat up. LOVED playing pool with Aiden. And that ending has me super anxious to get my hands on Come and Get Me. Who is Keatyn's moon boy? Only one book to go!

5 I couldn’t hate you if I tried Stars

Hate Me begins with Keatyn having to make a decision. She has spent the last few books running and hiding from Vincent and she is tired of running. She is exhausted and feels responsible for the hardship and turmoil Vincent has caused her, her friends and her family.

Keatyn has to make a choice: continue to hide and wait or fight back.

What I loved about this installment lots and lots of God of All of Hotties. Aiden is seriously one of the most swoon worthy characters I have ever read about, and he didn’t let me down in Hate Me.

“I’ve never asked you to promise me forever, Boots,” he says, the hint of a smirk playing on his lips. “Just promise me tomorrow.”

I wasn’t sure how anyone could ever hate my Glitter Whore Keatyn, but Ms. Dodd worked it out perfectly. I loved the direction this book took, and choices made. I cannot wait to read more about Keatyn and the Gang.

"I’ve been stalked and kissed and dated and loved, but now I can see it clearly on their faces. Hate.

Hate Me (Keatyn Chronicles #5) by Jillian Dodd
5 IFLY stars!!!

“It means we’re going to survive the kiln, too. No matter how high the heat.”

I have to say, this is my favourite of the series so far and that is saying something. I have always tried to justify reading this series to myself, as being 40 I should be past reading about high school antics and teenagers, but I am seriously addicted to this series. I had a crap time at school, really really bad, the victim of bullies, my school life was hell, so I missed out on all the fun and frolics, so I live vicariously through Keatyn in this series and live the school life I feel that I should have had. That is the beauty of the series, you are never too old!

A lot happens in this book and as much as I would love to spill the beans, I can’t; seriously, it would spoil it too much. But the biggest development in this book is Keatyn herself. She really grows up; she takes charge of her life and of her destiny and the fate of her family. She is selfless in this book and everyone comes before her, even her friends, a far cry from the slightly selfish Keatyn that we first encountered in Stalk Me. Keatyn has got to the point of fight or flight in this book, but knowing how ballsy our Keatyn is she chooses the fight option. Coming up with plans to draw Vincent out into the open, hoping to fluster him to the point that he makes mistakes, Keatyn puts her own life on the line to put her cunning plan into motion. Certain people are there for her and others she thought she could rely on fail her but she has a trusty team on her side, none more so than Grandpa. Gah, I love this man #teamGrandpa.

“Glad to see I taught you well. Just remember, any idiot can poke a rattlesnake with a stick, but a wise man knows exactly how long that stick is.”

Everyone knows I am a staunch “Team Aiden” fan and those that are will not be disappointed, well maybe a little ;-). He really pulls out all the stops in this book, he swoons, he romances, he is just so darn perfect and you do feel the chemistry between them radiate off the page. Maybe I am setting myself up for a huge fall and bitter disappointment but I truly hope that Keatyn’s HEA is with Aiden. Their connection is not just physical, it is emotional, and I feel that they are soul mates, ying and yang. For the first time Aiden’s thoughts and feelings are poured into this book and it was beautiful to read. Even the “Team B” people must feel that Aiden really comes into his own in this book. Whilst I appreciate you never forget your first love, the type of connection that these two have is one of those once in a lifetime ones. I love that these two have not really delved into the physical side of their relationship; they are concentrating on building the foundations. Keatyn has never approached a relationship like this and it is this that is another sign of her growth and maturity. These two really begin to gel as a couple and even though Keatyn’s secrets are not out in the open, Keatyn takes the approach that if they were truly meant to be, then when the real truth is finally revealed, he would understand and they would still be together. Even though the truth may hurt Aiden in the first instance, I feel positive that he will understand Keatyn’s reasoning and her necessity to protect those closest to her. At the end of the day, in a roundabout way, she has revealed the truth to him and knowing how intelligent Aiden is, I am sure he will re-group, connect the dots and stand by her side, at least I hope so.

“And does this kiss ever speak. It’s a kiss that’s more emotional than it is sexual. It’s a kiss that says all our fighting, all our misunderstandings, our lack of communication, all the hurt feelings, were worth it…its emotion mixed with desire. And I decide that might be the most powerful combination of all.”

Brooklyn, well, I couldn’t help but feel even more detached from him than I did before in this book. He may come up with plans, ideas and be Keatyn’s sounding board, but I feel that he never seems to follow through, none more so in this book. He still wants to be the best that he can be and follow his dreams, leaving Keatyn to find and fight her own, that is no bad thing, but I just felt he was pulling away in this book. Absence doesn’t seem to be making the heart grow fonder with these two. Keatyn is seeing a different side to Brooklyn, but I do feel that this is maybe Jillian’s way of making us think one thing and then she will hit us with something totally different. She is clever like that as we all know. She may be the queen of words, she has this knack of saying one thing that you can read in a certain way and think you are 100% correct, but then when the book comes out it means something totally different, yet she hasn’t actually told a fib!

Aiden is willing to change everything to be with Keatyn, some may say that is not a good thing, but it shows his devotion and commitment. I just hope in my heart of hearts that he is her HEA, although with a forever evolving script will her HEA be with her moonboy…for sure in this book the script is continuously changing so will this reflect on Keatyn’s life too?

“It’s what love is supposed to be. Scary, exhilarating – from the top of the world to the pits of hell – all-consuming love.”

“As long as we’re in each other’s hearts, we don’t ever have to label our relationship.”

As usual we have all the usual “hotties” in this book, there is a lot of fun and you can’t help but laugh at what the crazy gang get up to. I love Riley, he is really coming into his own and to me he really stood out in this book from the other characters. The girls are no different and we still have Whitney trying to convince us that leopards do change their spots…we all know that they don’t though!

I can’t wait for August for Get Me, however, this will also be bittersweet as it will be the end…I know we are going to have spin offs but this will be Keatyn’s final book and I for one am not sure I am ready to let her go.

“Hottie God: ifly <3
Me: Are you telling me you’re fly? LOL
Hottie God: I totally am, but no. ifly = I fucking love you
Me: Oh  Well, then, ifly too <3”

Once again Jillian, a fab read with twists and turns galore, totally and utterly loved it and as I said, my favourite one of the series so far.

3.5 disappointed stars.

I got bored half the book. That is a first in this series.
The last 30% of this book worths reading and I can't wait to finally read the last book.

Yessss!!! 4 days to go!! Cannt wait my fav series of all times
Come to me baby!

Here a series that the more the author writes the more readers are addicted. I woo you Jillian to write for us!!
I must admit that I usually hate authors that extend the series and very often I do not continue to book #2 #3 etc. because it not interest me enough to go on. Maybe because the writting is boring or the story is boring. But This series is above every other one. The way you write is funny, the characters are lovable and the story is nice. I would love to watch it on Tv.
Well done Jillian!!

Couldn't hate if i tried...

Setting- Flirty and Dirty Book Blog

Scene- D has just finished reading HATE ME (Keatyn Chronicles #5) by Jillian Dodd. She’s blown away. D loves the growth in Keatyn and how that has changed the story in an amazing way.

Keatyn isn’t a self centered spoiled rich kid anymore. Keatyn makes all her decisions and follows them for everyone close to her. She is realizing what love is and how there are so many kinds of love for the various people in her life.

Cut to Aiden- still remains the Hottie God. Has actually has gone from Hottie God to Ultimate Hottie God. OMG he is amazing. So thoughtful and has the biggest heart. D wonders where were boys like him when she was in high school and if she could get a do over she would want to go to Eastbrooke. Aiden and Keatyn’s relationship is so sweet and how they see each other now is so much more mature and thoughtful.

Camera pans over the other boys of Eastbrooke- Hottie God has a crew of demi gods surrounding them (cue Dallas, Riley, Logan, Jake)
D is hyperventilating and getting the warm and fuzzies with how sweet these boys are and loves the friendship and loyalty they have for one another.

Cue the villians- Chelsea and Whitney will never learn. Karma is a bitch though.

Final scene- (D delivers final monologue to Jillian Dodd)

J Dodd you rock my socks girl. I have never followed a series so closely or been so excited for each and every book. From Stalk Me until now in Hate Me, the way you have evolved Keatyn’s character- *sigh* she has grown and matured. I really enjoyed how she handled the situations in Hate Me.
I still wish I could castrate V with a butter knife but I know you will give him what’s coming in Get Me. As for who Keatyn will end up with- it will be the right boy no matter if your fans are Team A or Team B (I’m Team A by the way lol).
I love how Cooper has got a bigger role in this installment. His character is fun. Oh and OMG Stockton’s is the place. Where were those when we were in school? We didn’t even have those in college. I love the romance and young love in Hate Me. The whole psycho-stalker Vincent story line gives enough suspense to keep the story quick paced. Love the fashion as usual and the visual of Aiden in his Prada’s and tux is just *swoon*
Not sure if I can wait until August for the next one. Yes that was a doozie of a cliffhanger but it is so worth it!!!!! I HATE that I can’t GET more until summer.

Rolling credits- If you haven’t entered the world of the Keatyn Chronicles, you are missing out. Jillian has given the YA/NA genre a makeover. She’s added a hot trendy vibe to it, making it more about being fun, young and in love. The Keatyn Chronicles must be read in order to keep with the story line.
Look for GET ME, book #6 coming this summer to an ereader near you. Who will Keatyn end up with and what will Vincent’s final scene be?

Hate Me gets 5/5 stars. Rated 17+ for strong language, suggestive scenes.

Punch me in the face. It will make you feel better….

It's the truth. Always. No matter what, or who!

I build my reviews on a foundation of honesty and random hilarity, but my honesty comes at a price. Having developed many personal author relationships, voicing my opinion hurts. It hurts real bad. However, sincere candor is my promise, a promise I make no matter who wrote the book. I read every single book sitting at the proverbial round table of life. Everybody's equal.

If I was to rate this book based on love for the series and the talent of the author, a non contested five stars would be simple, easy. A sure thing, but Hate Me just wasn't my favorite of The Keatyn Chronicles.

It seemed to move slower than the rest of the series; the plot just wasn't as saturated. It felt more like a transitional book. Important in it's own right, just not as entertaining. However, a huge testament to the world that Jillian Dodd has created, is that I was still addicted; I still crave what's coming next. I gots to know!!!

I don't think Jillian did anything wrong here; it's more like she's setting us up for the big finale. Maybe this book was the calm before the storm. Don't get me wrong though, the ending did pack a major punch and made the whole experience worth it. The anticipation that Hate Me created is KILLING ME! Dead. Dying.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this is one of the most frustratingly addictive series I've ever read! Maybe this one wasn't my favorite, but with a series of 6.5 books, there's gonna be at least one you didn't like as much as the rest, but the mark of a good, no, a great series is that you love it, even when you don't. It's an unconditional addiction!

I was lucky to have the wonderful opportunity to beta read another book by the amazing Jillian Dodd. Once again, she did not disappoint me.

I was suuuuuper apprehensive about reading this book. I knew a lot of rough stuff was going to go down and I didn't know if I'd be able to handle the emotional roller coaster I knew it was going to build.

While following Keatyn through her life at Eastbrooke, the reader is not able to forget about why she's really there in the first place. It's amazing how strong Keatyn is through everything, it is easy to look up to her and be proud of her growth throughout the series. While the book doesn't end on the happiest of notes, it is easy to understand why it had to end the way it did, and also to be proud of Keatyn and understand how far she has come along her journey. This book is her book, I can't wait to see how everything plays out in Get Me.

This book is one of my favorites in the series. I love seeing all of her relationships developing with her new friends. Some of my favorite scenes from the whole series are in this book!

So, definitely read it if you've already started the series. And if you haven't, I highly recommend picking it up!

Read This Series.

The books just get better and better as the series progresses. I couldn't even begin to explain how much I enjoy these books. I just do. I'm giddy as a school girl. I await anxiously for the next and I truly believe I will have a nervous break down when it ends. I can't think of one single thing I don't like about these books. I am a fangirl at 40 for Jillian Dodd.. :)

P.s I wish I was Keatyn, stalker and all.. :)

Actual 3.5 Stars.

Warning - this review will be slightly spoilery if you haven't read the other books in this series yet.

Lots of filler in this one which I had a tendency to skim BUT I love that the romance became more steady and I LOVE Aiden - he is incredible. Keatyn takes some of the control back, but her actions weren't well thought out and the consequences were terrible. I'm still struggling to accept the stalker storyline as wholly credible but I'm just going with the flow now. B is an ass and if she ends up with him I'll scream. He is such a mass of contradictions - telling the world he loves her and then saying he's with someone else? I have never wanted to punch a fictional boy in the nuts as much as I want to punch him. Please don't let her end up with him but I'm terrified that's what is going to happen because otherwise, I don't really understand why he continues to play a part in the story. Damian is awesome and I really want him and Peyton to get their HEA.

That ended was awesome even if it about killed me. My heart is shredded and it brought a tear to my eye, but I love how selfless Keatyn has become.

On to the last book.

Christmas really does come in April!!

I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of Hate Me. When I saw it on my kindle, I can not tell you how happy and nervous I was at the same time. This is one of my very favorite series and with the release of each book, I am a huge frazzled bundle of nerves. I have been living in an Adore Me bubble, and honestly, I did not want to come out of it and have all my hopes and dreams burst. I was highly apprehensive about this book and where the story would go.

It is very hard to write a review without spoilers but all I can say is READ THIS BOOK AND SERIES!! I should not have worried and just trusted Jillian to continue with Keatyn's story. It is HER story and how she will finally get her life back. I think it will go one way, but then there are always twists and turns that Jillian gives us that makes me say....never saw that coming! The reason why I love this series so much is because Jillian has the ability to give me what I didn't know I even wanted. She gives me so much more!!

This story picks up right after Adore Me. Keatyn wants to protect her family, friends, and loved ones while dealing with Vincent. For me, this book has a more serious undertone to it. You really can see what Keatyn is struggling with while trying to get her life back. These are things that no seventeen year old should worry about or give up to just survive. My heart broke for her and the choices she had to make.

But don't get me wrong, this story has a lot of funny and sexy in it too!! The whole gang is back in Eastbrooke and I just loved being around them again. There are no words for Dallas and the things he says and does!! We get naughty santa, furry rugs, and tons of swoon worthy moments for all the couples. And a certain scene involving a pool table..... have mercy!!

And as for Keatyn's loves..... she is torn between her old life and what she knew with Brooklyn and her new life with Aiden. How will it end when the truth finally comes out? Will they hate her or come and get her in the end?? That is the question that I can't wait to find out when Get Me is released in August!!!

Hate Me by Jillian Dodd

Warning: be prepared for hottie god kisses and sexy abs throughout.

OH.MY.GOSH!

What a crazy ride. Book 5 in the series and I’m still on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, and basically freaking out every chapter. If Aiden isn’t Moon Boy at the end of this series I might cry. Speaking of Aiden HOLY HOTTNESS BATMAN! God Of All Hotties is the perfect name for him. I love it when Alpha Aiden comes out.

Keatyn has come into her own and has grown leaps and bounds from the spoiled girl in "Stalk Me". I feel like a proud older sister to see how much she has changed. Can't wait to see how everything unravels in "Get Me."

4.5 stars! Whhhhhhhaaaaaatttt?!?! UGH Aug needs to seriously hurry up! This series is so addicting! If you haven't started it yet, now is the time to do so. Yes the book ends in a cliffy, but what do you expect? It's the 2nd to last book, where everything will all play out! In Hate Me Keatyn is taking back control of her life. I love this Keatyn and how much she has grown! I have a feeling she's going to be a bad ass in Get Me! Loved it and can't wait for the final book where Keatyn will hopefully get her life back and finally get moon boy! #teamaiden

I must admit that I have a horrible memory and can hardly ever remember the names of books, the authors that wrote them, or the character's names. But this series is engraved in my memory, in my soul! Jillian Dodd has once again done it by captivating my absolute attention by creating yet another masterpiece! Bravo Jillian for providing suspense, passion, love, drama, and best of all, some kick ass quotes. I shall keep this review spoiler free but am telling you, this is a must read series and won't let you down! Hot guys, hot girls, some partying, some good laughs, some good drama, and awesome suspense! And don't forget.... The first book Stalk Me is free!
