About the author

I write YA and NA fiction! My first novel, Enhanced, launched in 2013. Enhanced is about a teen girl born into a eugenics program, where ruthless doctors breed people like livestock. Enhanced was nominated for the BTS Red Carpet Award, and the sequel, Sacrificed, is a BTS Red Carpet Award finalist.

In other news, I am finished with 'Bait' the first book in a new dystopian series about a sentient disease that targets females. Bait is available on Amazon and I'm finishing the sequel now.

A good intro into the world of eco-building and green living. Gave the basics as to the types of green buildings and some simple helpful tips for conserving utilities. Pretty simple stuff and good for young readers. I like to start with younger aged stuff for basic 'knowledge gathering'. It's easier to read and for understanding in my 'layman' mind into the depths of the unknown to me. I liked the pictures and the captions. I liked how it gave the names of the types of buildings and the basics of them so I would be able to know what to look for for more in depth reading. Simple, easy and informative to read. I even made a few notes. :) Enjoy

A solid nonfiction series entry from the "Let's explore science" series by Rourke. Plenty of details and good photos. Gr. 4-7.
