Book 3 in the Arda series "It's my turn," has been Krysta Tul'Mar's deep-hearted cry to find love and her soul's mate, even as she aids in the defense of her homeworld. As Captain of the Ardani Home Guard, she's always been able to take care of herself. But now, she's in serious trouble. She's been kidnapped by a fire-eyed outlaw, a man rumored to be ruthless in his rule-and his tastes. His passion and fire draw her to him, even though she knows he is her enemy. Darkyn Weil, chief of Arda's rebellious Outlanders, knows only duty, responsibility, and destiny. He's bound to battle an ancient evil, to fight a fight likely to cost him his life. He can't fall in love, and he certainly can't mate. No woman could be asked to bear what lies ahead for him. But once he sees Krysta, once he touches her-he can't turn away from such passion.
I'm in my 40's now, and finally living my lifelong dream of loving all my jobs. I still work in psychology, I farm, I write—and I have a blast.
I'm southern by birth, and I've lived in the south most of my life. My foothill farm is beautiful, and I couldn't ask for a better place to live or write. I find inspiration, peace, joy, and beauty in my family, my home, the woods, and the love of all my many animals. And I do have a lot of animals. I mean, a lot. Dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, peafowl, guineas, ducks, geese, and oh, yeah—a parrot. Who is a perfect parrot-pain, but I do love him.
Urban fantasy, high fantasy, futuristic science fiction, and historical fantasy are my favorite genres to write or to read. I write almost every day, and I try to finish at least one manuscript every few months. In between time spent practicing psychology, writing, tending the animals, and spending time with my family, I also try to dedicate a few hours to playing my guitar and piano, photography, playing video games, watching old movies, and walking.
I'm thrilled to be able to write, and thrilled that readers enjoy my stories. I'd love to hear from you, and I'd love to know what you think about my books.
Solid conclusion to the erotic scifi romance Arda trilogy--this is a bit longer, to allow for the backstory and conclusion of the story arc that encompasses the three books.
Fiery Krysta whose brothers found their mates in the first two books looks at their relationships with joy and a bit of envy. She doesn't begrudge them their happiness but also longs deeply for the day when she finds her match. When she does, boy is it a doozy :)
A fitting close to the three stories; Ms. Windsor does a great job with balancing an entertaining story with loads of heat.
By far the best of the three. Good sci-fi erotic romance. Plenty of action (of all kinds) and world-building. More heat than romance, but the conflicts were believable. This is the last book in the trilogy and stands well enough alone.
